"Can we go into space yet?" Mikey asked once more for the hundredth time.
Maya was contemplating hitting him. God, I love him but he's insufferable sometimes, she thought to herself.
"Yes, just about." Honeycutt replied, pressing buttons at his control panel. "Just let me...right then! Gather round, everyone!"
Since the ship wasn't city levels of huge, most just shuffled a few steps forward. Iris walked up to be close to Fugitoid, staring inquisitively at his robotic form.
Leo put a hand on the whitish hair colored person's shoulder. "Maybe you should sit this one out."
"Why?" Their big eyes pleaded for Leonardo to explain himself.
"You're still learning the basics for being human, you know? We can't have you drifting off into the...um..." Leo wanted to say sea, but was afraid of how Iris would react.
"Okay..."
Leo looked up to Fugitoid. "Fugitoid, do you have any way to speed up their learning process? Like download all information about humanity into their brain or something?"
"I could, but it could take awhile." Fugitoid looked down and emoted with his orange screens. "For now Iris, I can assist you on your learning journey while we stay on the ship."
Iris held back any sign of disappointment. "Okay."
"Alright everyone, suit up!"
When the teens entered the armory, they felt similar to a kid in a candy store. Except for Jophiel and Raziel. Though they were curious about the technology Zayton possessed, they had no real use for the spacesuits other than for decorum.
"Whoa!" Raph gleamed.
Leo was trembling with excitement. With a nerdy giggle, he ran over to try on a blue accented helmet.
"Nice!" Maya stuck her tongue out. "Color coded space suits: perfect for toy marketing and character distinction. Too bad I'm about to ruin that!"
"What?" Casey lifted a brow.
Mikey patted his shoulder consolingly. "You wouldn't get it."
Maya eyed the colors of various spacesuits and weaponry. As everyone was choosing their conveniently colored and placed weapon of choice, Maya eyed a lavender space helmet. Readying her eager hands, she put the helmet over her head.
"My hair can't fit comfortably in this thing." She thought about going bald for a brief moment. "Oh well!"
Maya grabbed a white bat that had spikes all over, the spikes themselves filled with light purple luminescent liquid.
"Yeah!" She swung the bat around. "Oh, Donatello my dearest!"
She made a threatening swinging motion and gestured to his legs. Donatello, however, was busy eyeing the twins. One would think with uneasiness, but Donnie was filling to the brim with infatuation.
