Jophiel looked at her brother with fearful eyes. How they were discovered, they thought, was unknown.
"Pack your things." She instructed.
Quickly, using a sleek futuristic black bag, Raziel stuffed everything earthly he held dear inside. It was mostly little trinkets like rings and metal cubes. He also bagged some clothes and rocks. Rocks were his favorite. They were the one thing you could find anywhere. He would know. This wasn't his first planet.
Jophiel followed her own advice and stuffed her silver version of a case with tarot cards and crystals. Some seeds, water and clothes were also packed. Unlike her brother, Jophiel cherished the unique things Earth had to offer. Things that were only of this world. That's why it was harder for her to get a hold of herself as they readied their exit.
"I'll miss you, home." She kissed her walls, an odd alien custom, and acsended out of the atmosphere with her brother.
"You shouldn't be sad, Jophy. You knew that this planet would come to ruin sooner or later." His eyes were a cold gray color.
There were some differences amongst the "twins". For instance, the shape of their eyes were different. His were half lidded, like he was born to be tired of everything. Jophiel's were almond shaped and a cocoa brown. They also weren't biological twins. Just two of the same species born at the exact same time. But on Sarchagel, that was enough to be theoretically blood-bound.
The siblings looked nothing alike. Though Jophiel changed her hair frequently, as per the human custom, she had extremely curly black hair. It was currently silk pressed into a smooth waves look that she held up in a ponytail. Her skin was a rich brown color, complemented by a cream colored blouse and closely matched slacks.
Raziel was extremely fair skinned. He had long golden auburn hair, layered in such a way that the ends of his hair were the thinnest part. He only wore a plain off black shirt and darker black jeans, since he didn't want to stand out.
A loud noise that they thought they'd never hear again shook the Earth. They looked down, and saw a massive black hole consuming their former home.
"Don't look!" Raziel warned, but it was too late.
Jophiel's fragile heart had nerves to her tear ducts, and she began to sob.
"Over there, Jophy!" Raziel floated towards his weepy sister carefully to point to a giant white spaceship in the sky. "Let's hitch a ride."
