Miranda's hands were shaking throughout the whole car ride, she felt horrible for hitting Nicole and her hand was also sore, Ben placed his free hand on hers to try and calm her down. "calm down, everything is going to be ok"
"i'm trying but its not working" and then she started crying. "Miranda why are you crying?" Ben asked. "I feel so terrible for what i did to her" Ben hated seeing her crying, but he absolutely did not feel bad for Nicole, a lot of people that know her don't.
Ben pulled up to her apartment building and he held her close as they walked up together. He unlocked and opened the door for her. While she showered he got her an ice pack and waited for her on the couch. When she came out he passed her the ice pack and she sat close to him on the couch.
"you got a killer punch for someone so little" Ben said laughing, Miranda popped him in the back of his head. "Hey! i was just playing" now she was laughing. "Don't be just playing then" Ben took his hand and placed it on her belly "Sprout you gotta tell mama to chill, she can't be beating up everybody with you in here" Ben was now rubbing her belly in a comforting motion. "I know and I promise I will sprout, right after Ben rubs my feet" Ben rolled his eyes, " you always want me to rub these damn critters" he pulled her feet in his lap while she turned on a movie.
Ben woke up in the middle of the night cuddling Miranda in what had to be an uncomfortable position, so he picked her up bridal style and carried her to her bed. He tried to put her in the bed but she wanted him to stay with her, so he did.

The next morning Miranda woke up before Ben but had gotten back in bed with her bagel and fruit bowl. Ben awoke and heard the tv so he turned on his other side to see Miranda invested in whatever she was watching. "Good morning Miranda" Ben said yawning and stretching, "oh your up!" She replied "did Webber tell you when I could come back?"
She was so anxious to get back, she loved her job with everything in her. "No but he did tell me to call him in two days".
"Two days! What the hell am I supposed to do for two days" she huffed.
"Well tomorrow your just going to have to suffer, but today if you want, my grandparents are having a cookout. I would love for you to come with me.
"Really!"
He snuggled into her and mumbled "mmhm"
"Ok I have to find something to wear, oh my gosh what if she doesn't like me" she said rambling.
Ben snaked his arms around her waist and snuggled his head in the tiny space between her pillow and back "she will, now can you please go back bed it's 6:45"
"Are you sure?"
"Positive"
She snuggled into him, he went back to sleep but she stayed up watching tv until she fell asleep.
