The Morning Glow

As morning came into the den Inuyasha's form slowly changed back to his Half demon form. Inuyasha was the first to stir from sleep. Inuyasha tried to get up but was currently being held close by Kouga. Inuyasha smiled kissing Kouga's cheek and shaking his shoulder. "Kouga I'm hungry can you please let me go so I can get some food?" Asked Inuyasha. Kouga groaned holding Inuyasha closer stroking Inuyasha's hair softly. "Don't wanna let you go. I'll ask Ginta or Hakkaku to get us some food. We'll just stay here for the day so we don't have to see that women leave and I can enjoy you in my arms." Said Kouga as he laid kisses on Inuyasha's ears down to his lips where he planted a gentle and loving kiss. "Plus I don't think you'll be walking around much today or wanting to sit down after last night. You need to rest for the day." Inuyasha gently punched his shoulder blushing some across his face. Kouga chuckles kissing Inuyasha's cheek more nuzzling into Inuyasha's neck as Kouga's tail starts to wag in the blankets.

Shippo soon emerged from his room looking around worried. "I-Is Dad okay??" Asked Shippo as he looks at the bed. Inuyasha relaxes some looking back at Shippo. "Yeah, I'm okay now Shippo sorry I worried you. Kouga's advice helped me cool off and I seem to have a clearer head space now." Said Inuyasha to which Kouga chuckled before getting punched in the stomach by Inuyasha who wore an innocent face. At the hit Kouga let Inuyasha go as he grabbed his stomach and take a deep breath. Kouga then whispered to Inuyasha. "Fair, but harsh."

Shippo nodded smiling as he jumped onto the bed. "Well, I'm happy to hear that! I do notice you and Kouga smell a little different than normal, but it's probably just the scent last night soaking up into the room." At this, both Kouga and Inuyasha blush a little as the events from last night flood up again. "Y-Yeah you're probably right about that. Kouga and I were going to go wash everything today and stay hidden here for the day. We don't need anyone finding out besides everyone that knows about Kouga and me. So Shippo do you think you can do me a favor and go get Ginta or Hakkaku to come here with some food for the day and then get Lady Himiko to come in as well?" Asked Inuyasha. Shippo nodded raising his hand and pounding it against his chest. "You can count on me! I can go get them once we unblock the door." Said a proud Shippo. At this Kouga nodded and got up to remove everything used to block the door. Inuyasha did try to get up but was stopped when a sharp pain in his lower back hit him and he muffled the groan of pain to not alert Shippo. Inuyasha just settled to sit up in the bed against the wall and watch the two. This was however picked up from Kouga who smirked in confidence knowing that was because of him and it made him proud. After a while, Kouga and Shippo were able to remove everything that was once blocking the door allowing Shippo to head out on the errand Inuyasha asked of him.

Kouga was still smirking as he joined Inuyasha on the bed he gently began to message Inuyasha's lower back and hip. At this touch, Inuyasha released another low groan as he could feel the tension and sore muscles relax against Kouga's hands. Inuyasha relaxed more into the touch and moved so he was in front of Kouga so had a better angle to message his lover back. "Hehehe I guess I worked you over a little too well last night Inuyasha." Teased Kouga as he kisses Inuyasha's neck pressing his thumbs a little harder into Inuyasha's back causing Inuyasha to moan softly. "Shut up Kouga before I punch you again. Just keep doing what you're doing. It feels nice right now.~" Said Inuyasha. Kouga laughed some but nodded as he continued to work over Inuyasha's body as they waited for their guests to arrive.

As Kouga was finishing up the message Hakkaku and Himiko came into the room with some food for the two. Kouga and Inuyasha thank them for the food as Kouga took it from them and gave the food to Inuyasha for him to eat first. Both Hakkaku and Himiko took note of this as they watched Inuyasha begin to eat while Kouga waited. Either Kouga didn't register what he was doing, or he was showing them that this is his mate now. The two also took note of the two smells when Kouga took the food from them and how it almost filled the room. Plus there was a softer scent mixed in with this new smell that could only be described as heat. They both looked at each other then back at the happy couple who were almost glowing in each other's presence.
