After cuddling and basking in the afterglow of sex for a while Kouga gently picks up Inuyasha and carries him toward the hut near the lake. Kouga smiles looking down at Inuyasha's sleeping face and then at seeing his mark on Inuyasha. Once at the cabin door, he gave it a knock with his foot and waited. After the knock, the door began to warp to show some text on the door. The text read as such,

"It starts as a seed that is watered by the living crimson. The living crimson flows through many, but not all share the same to help the seed bloom. As it takes root to grow many branches and leaves that the living crimson has given it. Each branch may live to grow or fall for its death as time will tell. However, I shall still stand and grow not just name alone."

Kouga looked at the door and then back down to Inuyasha who was snoring softly in his arms. "Family." This was all Kouga said before the door slowly opened for him. Kouga then walks into the hut which seemed to almost resemble his home back in the mountain minus the kitchen off to the right once entering the hut. It was an all-in-one hut that is enchanted to look like how the person who solved the riddles home. It was fitted with the massive bed that Kouga and Inuyasha slept on every night, the hot spring bath off to the side, and his closet full of extra clothes and armor for him and Inuyasha. It even had a small kitchen off to the left of their bed just in case they wanted to eat indoors instead of outside. Kouga smiles as he walks over to the bed to gently lay Inuyasha down and cover him up in the pelt blanket.

Kouga looks around the hut to check to make sure everything is working as it should be. His Dad told him long ago that the riddle changes depending on what the person before it desires. It also will only show the riddle to those who are descendants of the people who made it. If someone was able to break down the barrier the hut acts as another barrier to hide the people inside it. For those who answer the riddle of the door, the hut transforms on the inside to be a safe spot and grows on the inside to fit whoever enters it. As shown before Kouga it was his cave, but a little smaller and with extra perks. The hut could hold up to 30-50 people at a given time, but will still look on the outside to hold maybe 5-6 people. This hut is said to use a separate dimension once beyond the door for its creators. If Kagome and her friends tried to follow in without his blessing they would've seen them enter, but once they tried to open the door it would be empty.

This was the best hiding spot for them to become mates, and for generations to come. The only one that could destroy this place would be Inuyasha with his Red Tessaiga who can destroy barriers, but Kouga knew Inuyasha wouldn't do that thankfully. Kouga looked at Inuyasha smiling softly as he moves to go outside to go fishing for dinner tonight while Inuyasha rested for now. Kouga walks back over to the lake as he rolls his shoulders back and cracks his neck to the side. "Alright let's get some fish for my Pup." Said Kouga before jumping into the water.

It took some time but Kouga was able to catch some decently sized fish and even picked some berry bushes that were off in the back behind the hut. Kouga was proud of his haul and brought it back inside to start making them some food, but was surprised to see Inuyasha already awake and was wearing only the dark pelt skirt he wore for Kouga when they were alone. This put a smirk on Kouga's face as he watched Inuyasha as he seemed to be making some miso soup and some rice. Inuyasha turns his head to look at Kouga who just came into the hut. "Welcome back Kouga. I'm almost done with part of our dinner if you wanted to get started on cooking up the main dish you caught for us?" Said Inuyasha. Kouga nods his head not taking his eyes off Inuyasha. "Y-Yeah sure Inuyasha." Said Kouga. Kouga then shakes his head beside Inuyasha and starts prepping the fish to be cooked with a smile. Descaling and gutting the fish was never Kouga's favorite part about eating fish, but he did like eating it still here and there.

After finishing preparing the fish Kouga begins grilling the food over the brick fire oven as Inuyasha watches over the rice. Kouga stands up, wraps his arms around Inuyasha's waist, and kisses his cheek. "Shouldn't you be resting right now Pup? I know for a fact I wasn't holding back and can be pretty rough." Said Kouga. Inuyasha leans back against Kouga and watches the rice and miso soup. "Yeah I should, but I woke up a bit ago hungry and hungry trumps out the pain I felt/feel right now. Compared to earlier I do feel better now that you are here from what it seems. I may be a half-demon, but I do have a crazy recovery depending on the damage. Plus I wanted to help cook for you and me while you got us the main dish for tonight." Said Inuyasha.

Kouga let out a chuckle as he lay gentle kisses up Inuyasha's neck making the man in his arms squirm slightly and let out a low moan. "K-Kouga knock it off~~. We need to... eat first... Fuck..~! You horny Wolf stop it!" Said Inuyasha as he elbows Kouga in the stomach pushing him away. "Sorry, my bad Pup. You just smelled so good and I loved the feeling of you in my arms. I kinda just got intoxicated by it all. My apologies." Said Kouga as he stands next to Inuyasha. Inuyasha lets out a small sigh before flicking Kouga's head. "Then no touching me then Kouga until after we eat and clean up. I love you and I feel amazing right now being covered in your scent to the point the Beta in me is pleased, but I need to clean myself off because I feel sticky and I don't like that very much." Kouga nods as he moves to check on the fish.

"Got it I'll be good and keep my distance for now." Said Kouga which Inuyasha nodded in acknowledgment. The two then proceeded as they were finishing up cooking the food for themselves. Kouga set down all the cooked fish on the middle plate as Inuyasha divided up the miso soup and rice into their bowls before setting them on the table. Inuyasha and Kouga smiled at their work they had done and it smelled so good. The two quickly sat down and began to eat the food. They had ideal chit-chat laughing at certain jokes and some small serious talks about what is going to happen once they returned to their home. "So, once we enjoy ourselves more the next few days we'll be returning to pick up everyone then head back up my pack. Once there I'll be dragging you and that sexy ass of yours to the Elders chamber and show them you're now my mate and that they can't do a fucking thing about it." Said Kouga with a smirk as he takes a bite out of the fish. 

Inuyasha sighs as one of his hands rubs his temples on his forehead. "Partially Kouga. Minus some of those comments you made you have the jest of it. We can't just go in with our swords at the ready. We have to be smart and level-headed, and that's saying something coming from me. Normally I would love that idea, but we have to be ready in case they start to ask questions, they refuse us, and want proof of why you choose me, and stuff like that." Said Inuyasha as he looks at Kouga. "I know Inuyasha, but I prefer mine still over this. Those Old Farts like sticking to tradition, but I don't care for it much. I just want you and I'll prove it to them you are the only one worthy to stand beside me Pup." Said Kouga as he moves to wrap his arms around Inuyasha's neck. Inuyasha gently puts his hands on Kouga's arms relaxing into Kouga's embrace. "Yeah I know Kouga, but still we need to have some kind of game plan. Or at least start thinking about it at times when my head is cleared and not really.... fuzzy.~~~" Said Inuyasha as he moves to rub his head more. Kouga noticing this kisses Inuyasha's head softly. "Head starting to go fuzzy I'm guessing?" Asked Kouga to which Inuyasha gives a slight nod.

"Then I'll help you wash your body then and if we start to have some fun while I do that. You can't be mad at me Pup." Said Kouga kissing Inuyasha's neck gently making Inuyasha moan slightly and nod his head. "Wh-Whatever Fleabag.~~~" Snapped back Inuyasha as he was picked up by Kouga and taken off to the side room where the bath is located to help "clean" his Inuyasha.
