After some time Kouga did have to leave their cave for a short period to tell the Elders. Once he reached the council room he informed them that he would be leaving to talk to Lady Kaeda and would be bringing Inuyasha, and Himiko with him. He showed them the letter saying she requested them to come to see her and he added that he wanted to exchange some supplies with her village. He did not wish to get on her bad side and the Elders agreed to it. They did however ask that he go and say goodbye to Lady Kiki for she will be leaving very shortly. He nodded before turning towards Lady Kiki and Elder Suki.

"It was a pleasure having you come to visit us and do be safe on your journey back to your pack. I would advise leaving very soon before you lose too much daylight. It gets very cold and dark around our part of the mountains." Said Kouga as he bowed slightly. Elder Suki smiled before speaking. "Thank you for your concern for my sister Kouga. May you be safe on your way to Lady Kaede's village. Do tell her I said hello and I'm still waiting on that tea recipe." Kouga nods before leaving the chambers making his way back to Inuyasha who should be telling Shippo about what is about to happen.

Lady Kiki looked toward her sister in a bit of confusion. "Was it just me sister or did Kouga smell a little off than normal?" Elder Suki tapped her chin before shaking her head. "No, he still smelled the same to me. You're just probably smelling some of Lord Inuyasha's and his child's scent on Kouga. They all currently still reside in Kouga's part of the cave so it's no surprise their scents blend a little at times." Kiki sighs before tapping her claws against the table. "I could've sworn it was different from that, but you may be right sister." With that, Kiki stood up and kissed Suki's forehead softly smiling. "I must be on my way then. They should have my stuff ready at the entrance so I should be going now as Kouga suggested. He was so sweet to worry about me! I know he's slowly coming around and falling for me in his own way." Said Kiki dreamily as she left as well.

Kouga felt a chill down his spine at that moment and the urge to bathe again or ask Inuyasha to hold him. Maybe do both? He sighed as he reached the room where Hakkaku was standing watch. "Welcome back Kouga I assume everything went well with the Elders?" He asked. "Of course. Now that I'm back here please send a letter to Lady Kaede that we will be traveling to see her within the coming week." Said Kouga. Hakkaku nods before saluting and running off at his Alpha's order. Kouga smiled as he entered his room, but was startled when he felt something small jump onto his chest. He quickly grabbed it before it fell and found it was Shippo smiling at him. "Is it true we're gonna go see everyone later this week?!" Exclaimed an excited Shippo. Kouga chuckled a bit before nodding his head at the little fox in his arms. Shippo then jumped out of his arms and went to his room. "I'm gonna start packing then and get the gifts I have for everyone I made for the next time we met them!" Inuyasha and Kouga shrugged their shoulders before cuddling each other on the bed. 

"He does know it's still going to be a few days before we have to leave right?" Said Kouga as he nuzzles into Inuyasha's neck. "I did tell him that, but he was too excited to hear that we would be going to see everyone. I did also try to tell him that after we are there for a week you and I would be going off somewhere for alone time, but I think he got a little too wrapped up in his world." Said Inuyasha as he combed his fingers through Kouga's hair. "Oh Himiko did come by here and I did take the drink she brought me, she was not wrong about the taste." He added sticking his tongue out to prove a point. Kouga laughed before kissing his sweet pup. "She is never one to lie." Said Kouga.

Inuyasha and Kouga just lay there in each other's embrace as the other kept messing with the other's hair. "So, how is your body feeling right now?" Asked Kouga. Inuyasha froze a little and blushed as he nuzzles more into Kouga sniffing him some. "I-I feel fine just a little hot, but somehow I feel better while you're with me. It also helps when I'm distracted and do not have my mind think about it." Said Inuyasha. Kouga nods as he goes back to stroking Inuyasha's hair. "Fair enough. I'm happy you're doing okay Mutt." Kouga teased. Inuyasha slapped Kouga's chest smiling. "Shut up you fucking idiot." He said in a joking tone. "What do you take me for I can take this on no problem!" Said Inuyasha with a proud smile on his face. Kouga just shook his head before kissing Inuyasha's cheek.
