"Please can Y/n L/n report to the Principal's office. Thank you." Raising an eyebrow, the teacher gave her a nod before she stood up. Brushing her skirt off, she walked out of the room and made her way to the office. Of course, she had been there multiple times for her work as the Student Council Vice President. Wondering if this was to do with the school council, she would have thought that the President, Justin Groff, would have also been called down.

Arriving at the door, she knocked confidently and waited for the go-ahead. Entering the room, her heart dropped at the sight of Gavin Reed. She knew of him for his terrible reputation of being the resident "bad boy" which made her gag at the thought. "Good morning, Miss L/n, please take a seat."

Sitting down, she could smell the nicotine and alcohol addiction. Swallowing her pride, she stayed quiet, "I have brought you both here to discuss Gavin's grades."

"I didn't fuckin' agree to this, lady!"

"That language will get you another week of suspension!" The woman calmed herself before clasping her hands together and resting them on her desk, "Gavin has a lot of potential to excel at his studies with the right help. His mother requested to have someone tutor him for his exams."

"Ma'am, I already have a lot on my plate with planning prom, the Student Council, and my own studies; would it not be ideal to get him a professional tutor?"

"Unfortunately, Gavin's financial situation is not the best and affording a tutor would be out of their price range." She explained before giving a soft smile, "However, we have found that troubled children in the past have been helped greatly if their tutor is someone their own age."

"But still-"

"You are at the top of the school, Y/n. I'm sure that the Student Council can plan prom without you. Justin is a very capable boy and you are just as capable. I believe that the two of you could really get along and you could knock some sense into him."

"I'm right here!" Gavin spoke up, the two turning to him. Rubbing the bridge of his nose, "I don't want this prude tutoring me. I'm fine on my own."

"We both know that that isn't true, Gavin."

"Wait, but what if I don't agree to this?"

"You aren't being forced to do this, of course, but this would give you some extra credit for college." The Principal always knew how to tug at her strings. "Do we have a deal?"

"Yes, ma'am."

Waking up flush against Gavin's chest was the last thing she expected to see. Remembering what happened the previous night, her cheeks burned with embarrassment. Gavin woke up from the warmth, breathing in her scent like it was his oxygen. He noticed she was hiding her face in his chest and realised what was going on, moving away from her. Throwing a shirt on, he left the room to feed the cats while Y/n was left to her own devices.

Sighing, she stood up and stood in front of his mirror, running a hand through her hair and admiring how she looked in his clothes. Turning around, she left his bedroom to see him feeding all of the cats.

"What are we going to do about the strays?"

"Well, the vets won't be open and we can't just leave them out in the cold."

"So?"

"So, I guess I'm taking them in."

"You mean we're taking them in?"

"Yeah, whatever." Standing up straight, he moved to walk past her and turned the TV on, both of them sitting down as he flicked to the news channel. They listened to the reports of the Androids winning and gaining their own rights, a smile reaching her lips. "I'm shocked they managed to win."

"I'm proud of them. Connor must be so happy!"

"You think the tin-can became a deviant?"

"The banter he and Hank had is second to none. Hank sees him as his son."

"And I bet he sees Hank as his dad, huh?"

"No doubt about it." Resting her head on the back of the couch, she looked over at him, "Seems live hank was a good dad in the end, huh?"

"Cole would've been lucky."

"Yeah..." Sitting up, she stood from the couch, "I'm going to make some breakfast. Why don't you name the cats while I'm gone?"

"Fine."

The two left the Principal's office, Y/n being quick to pull her phone out. "So, what was it like for Miss Priss to get called to the Principal's office."

"Miserable now that I'm stuck with you."

"That's no way to treat the guy that's getting you extra credit."

"Well done for being useless at being a student." Opening her phone, she got her contacts up, "Give me your phone so I can put my number inside."

"Give me yours after then." Rolling her eyes, she took his open phone from him and handed him her own. After a few seconds of typing in their numbers, adding names and swapping their phones back Gavin spoke up, "So, where are we doing this?"

"We'll alternate. My uncle will be pissed if I've got a guy who breaks the law daily in the house so we'll just work around his hours."

"Who's your uncle?"

"None of your business." Putting her phone away, she checked the clock in the hallway, "I'll text you my address and we can meet up at my house tonight. I'll give you a time after school. I'm guessing that if you don't go then you'll get more suspensions so I'd suggest just going along with this."

"Yeah, whatever."

"Where's your class?"

"What?"

"Where is your class?"

"Why the fuck would I tell you?"

"Because if you don't then I'll just let our Principal know that you're being difficult and let her deal with you before going off to do my own stuff."

"God, I'm supposed to be in maths right now. Room 2-C." Walking that way, Gavin begrudgingly followed the stubborn girl. She was insufferable and he had only been in her presence for 15 minutes.

When they arrived, he rolled his eyes at her dorky wave goodbye before he walked into the class. Knowing that he was going to be the biggest pain in the ass she'd ever have to deal with, she left for her own classroom.
