"What's your state ID?" Ramee spoke as soon as the call was answered.

"Hey Ramee. It's ya girl April. You know people typically greet each other when they're on the phone." April replied with sass.

"Money talks April get with the program." Ramee cringed to himself. Was he being too rude? What if she actually wanted to hear hello. He hoped he didn't sound too offensive. Not that he cared what other people thought of him. If she had any issues with the way he spoke she would have to quickly get over it.

The young millionaire was typically unfazed by the attention of women (and sometimes men) but something about the redhead intrigued him. The boys had made fun of him whenever her name was mentioned and they refused to let him forget that he declined to hang out at the Vanilla Unicorn after their successful heist a few weeks ago.

He remembered feeling childishly happy when she responded to his text six hours after he had sent it. His bright phone lit up in the dark car and all eyes were curiously on him when he refrained from responding. He couldn't wait to be in the privacy of his own home where he could respond without the immaturity of his friends. Ramee didn't know why exactly he was fascinated by her but he would just go along with it. What he had felt was alien and new but he was eager to explore it.

His thoughts were interrupted by the melodious  chime of April's laugh. He felt proud of himself for eliciting such a response from her and felt more comfortable that she did not seemed turned off by his harshness. Ramee often forgot that not a lot of people in the city understood the way he communicated or showed his appreciation. Even in the gang a lot of people did not seem to understand him fully. Many had avoided the brash man and were afraid to approach him for anything they needed. Ramee secretly loved providing for the people he cared about but nobody ever felt open enough to ask him. They often took the lengthier route instead of just asking him for favors. It bothered him for a while but he had learnt to accept that it would remain that way. Which was why April was such a breath of fresh air for him. The woman would easily speak to him for hours yapping on about her day and demand that he did things for her.

She explained to him that she didn't know how to check her state id or her PayPal and asked for his help. The vulture decided to take the opportunity as soon as it presented itself and told her to get ready at the apartments so that he can take her to the bank and show her around the city. Maybe even buy her a new phone to replace her cracked one.

He hung up the phone after her agreement to the arrangements for the day and got into his brand new two seater Mercedes. It was his preferred car for the day because it allowed him to show off his wealth and he could reject any of the boys who wanted to ride along. He slipped into the seat of the expensive car, inhaled the scent of new car and drove. On his way out the garage he spotted two of his friends with white hair. The two were laughing about something he did not care to find out about. He internally cursed. He was hoping he would leave undetected but nothing went his way in Little Seoul.

"Where are you going fucko?" Uchiha said with a lazy drawl while leaning on the brick wall.
Ramee tried to ignore the white haired man's words and the other's stare and tried to sound uninterested. "Out."

"He has a girlfriend now" Garrett's teasing voice filled the cubby. Great. Ramee thought. Autumn and Garrett made their way out of their apartment looking as annoyingly happy as they always did. The blonde was holding Felipe the cat and petting him softly. He glared at the animal.

"You're telling me that a girl actually wants to speak to you. Are you sure she's not a spy trying to kill us because that's more likely than someone being interested in you."
Uchi was rude.
Ramee liked him because he is one of the few people in the gang who understood the way he communicates. While the shinoba never asked for any favors he certainly wasn't afraid to voice his opinions and criticize him.
