Chapter 15

"April hurry up." Autumn's impatient voice carried itself from the living room to her bedroom. The woman was filling her bags with as many outfits she could fit in.

Mr K had invited her and some members of the gang to a charity gala to take part in some illegal deals. April didn't know much about the details but she knew she had to be careful during this. April would be riding with Autumn, Mari and Novah and it would be the first time she worked with any of the ladies. Mr K made sure that they all trained a month prior in the dojo and at the shooting range to feel more comfortable about sending them in. April had gone out and done the Vegas thing but she had never gone out with a group this large. She wanted to prove herself useful and make sure everything ran smoothly. She carefully hid her pink Glock along with some of her favorite knives in a hidden compartment of her guitar case.

April dragged her pink bag with her to the G-wagon while Autumn trailed behind after locking the forgetful girl's door. Mari was driving the girls in Ramee's car while the boys figured out their own transportation. During the ride April got to talk and relax with the women of CG. She found herself missing Ray Mond during the journey. Her young friend couldn't attend the event because she wasn't an official chain holder yet and she had left the city to go searching for her biological family. April knew that the girl came into the city to find out more about her biological family and was only successful in finding her brother. She would miss her friend but she knew this was something she had to do for herself.

After a few hours of driving Mari stopped at a deserted area along the road. This was where they found the boys in the parked with their cars. Taco and Ramee were sitting on their hoods joking about something she was not interested in decrypting. While Garrett, Randy and K were whispering amongst themselves. Big D and Vinny stayed behind to deal with anything that could come up in Los Santos and Flippy sent in Miguel, who was currently sitting in his car on the phone with his leader, to represent Hydra while they were in the midst of a turf war.

The girls walked up to the guys and greeted them with hugs. Randy waved everyone over to stand huddled in a circle. The once dead parking lot was alive with their chatter until Chang spoke.

"Listen up. We will be dealing with people we are unfamiliar with during this event. During our stay we will be selling some merchandise to those who are interested and buying some things that may come in handy for us in the future. Ladies, I invited you to come along as back up in the event that the boys need help. We all know that some gangs do not operate the same as ours and many of them do not have women as involved as you all are. They don't know how deadly you all are. From now till the event is over you will be with a partner."

Garrett handed everyone a burner phone.

"This means that you will be staying with your partners in the same rooms. Randy has booked everyone rooms that have enough room for you all to sleep comfortably. I will be staying with one of the guys and the rest of you will decide on your partners. Make sure when you get into your rooms you check for any listening devices and are careful of the way you speak. Remember you don't know who could be listening."

Chang turned to Randy and nodded to him as an indication to start speaking.
"These guys are going to think you guys are random women or girlfriends who don't know much about the way the gangs run. April you are already very familiar with this strat but the rest of you will have to act dumb for sake of blending in."
She nodded at what he said. She would have to turn on the air head persona and amplify her charisma for the misogynists.

"You guys will choose your partners. Try to choose someone you've already worked with. April I can see you are thinking deeply about something. Tell us." Randy and everyone who were standing in the circle looked at April. She had her experience as a leader but she was a little nervous talking to this group. These were her OG's. She wanted to impress them.
