April woke up at noon feeling tired. After she had returned to the party she had spent most of the night networking. When the dinner was officially over at midnight she and Ramee went to meet up with a man she didn't know to deliver the weed Ramee sold him as well as some guns from Vinny's bench. The deal had gone smoothly and there was no need for the gun she had hidden in her purse. The two returned to the suite and spent hours chatting and enjoying the view from the large windows. The vulture and the siren spent hours laughing at meaningless things while passing the bottle of champagne. They didn't care to find glasses and just sipped straight from the green bottle with the yellow label. They sang songs from shows they watched as children and asked each other silly questions while he braided and unbraided her hair. The two enjoyed the bubble of comfort that they had created for themselves and she did not regret choosing to hang out and drink instead of sleep. At around four in the morning the woman had fallen asleep on the man's shoulder.

April's red hair was puffed out like a bushfire on the silk pillows in her room. She had assumed that Ramee had somehow carried or dragged her to bed in her sleep. She woke up with a stretch and lazily made the bed. She would have to make sure to tell housekeeping that they did not need any cleaning service for the day. While the two did not sleep in the same bed she did not want to confirm or deny anything to the press. She wanted to keep the public guessing and her name on the trending page for the entirety of the event for her plan to work. She grabbed her Samsung from the nightstand and opened her DMs to message Ray. Her young friend had hoarded her with messages and emojis when she saw the picture that she had posted on her social media. April knew that her friend appreciated seeing pictures of her friends, and more importantly, Randy in his tailored suit because they weren't fans of pictures.

She rolled off the lazily made bed and went to take a shower. The scent of the pomegranate body wash lingered on her skin and in the air after she had long dried herself off. She brushed her hair out and wore it in its usual half crown braid. She languidly put on a thin layer of her tinted moisturizer, mascara and her heart blush. The redhead wanted to sleep for longer but she had already made commitments with the drunk lady from the night before. She wore a black La Chein wool and cashmere coat over her long sleeved dress and walked out of her room.

Ramee was seated on one of the dining room chairs sending an email to Kevin Ram who had sent him updates on VLC imports. Prior to that he had called Jaylen and Wayne to let them know that he had sold their products and will be sending their money when he got the opportunity. He was in the middle of checking up on Bleach when April walked out of her room. The woman looked as if she was on her way out. When he asked where she was going she had told him about her lunch date with a woman named Tracey.

"Tracey as in Tracey Verninne? Formally known as Tracey De Santa?" He asked.
"Maybe. I'm not completely sure." She said distractedly while putting on her earrings.

How could she not know who she was going out for lunch with? When he asked her that, April clarified that she had met Tracey and her frail husband at the birthday dinner. She knew they owned the hotel from seeing their pictures in articles online when she looked them up. The forgetful girl just couldn't have been bothered to remember their last names.

"They're literally one of the first people we're going to rob before we leave." Ramee told the woman. Randy had been snooping and found out that they had a safe in their penthouse.

April gave a careless shrug at his words. She didn't care that her new acquaintance was about to get robbed by them. The forgetful woman then ran back to her room to fetch her shoes. When she walked back out, finally ready to go, he spoke.

"By the way, I sent you 10k." He said as he finished typing his response to Bleach. April turned to give him a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek followed by a thank you. The swinging door pushed her rushed goodbye into the room as it closed shut. Nobody could see the light blush on his face but if someone were to walk in they would assume that the pink lipstick stain on his face was the cause of his dopey smile.
