"Fuck." She could hear Ramee's labored breath from behind her. The sound of a zipper being pulled up sliced through the night air. She glanced at the man and saw his back bent over. April sat on a seat with her leather glove on her lap. It had a small tear on the side which meant she would need a new pair soon. She carefully inspected her red and white nails under the moonlight to see if they got chipped or if any blood got into contact with her skin. "April." When she heard Ramee call for her attention she put her glove back on and walked to the back of the boat.

"You search him?" She asked her mentor. The vulture showed her the wad of cash and a gold pocket watch he took from the man without looking up. Who even had a pocket watch these days? Apparently Ramee. The man seemed to have added a new piece of jewelry to his collection. She watched as he twirled the chain on his finger in amusement. April smiled at the greedy man. This was why he was known as the vulture. She grabbed the money from his hands and pocketed it for herself; She could buy herself new gloves with that. The two inspected the scene in front of them. Everything seemed to be fine and she was glad they could soon go back home to sleep.

"Get his feet I'll carry the other side." Ramee said to the siren. She wished she could have had enough time to change out of her skirt and thigh-highs but they were in a rush so all she could do was bend carefully without flashing anyone. The two nodded to each other and efficiently carried the heavy body, because of the stones Ramee attached, and threw it into the ocean. The snow covered ground did not allow for them to dig a discreet grave so the ocean would have to do. The vulture and the siren casually leaned on the ledge of the boat looking over. They both silently watched the dead weight sink to the bottom of the ocean. Once it was no longer in view April checked the time on her phone.

"Well mine just died too." She said as soon as her phone's battery died in her hands. The two had been out since seven in the evening and neither had expected to be out so late.

"That's fine. I already texted Jaylen earlier. He agreed to take the car to get repaired. I thought I told you not to crash." He asked jokingly.

"First of all it's not my fault the pole was there. And technically I didn't even crash. I lightly tapped into the pole. This dude fucked with the car too so it's literally not even my fault." She said as she pointed to the ocean. "And besides I practically saved your life so I would like to be compensated." April added.

Earlier in the day the sinking man had noticed the Mercedes in the gallery parking lot and assumed Ramee was going to be driving it. He tampered with the breaks in the hopes that Ramee (who typically drove at high speeds) would get into a car crash. Luckily April was such a horrid driver that she crashed into the pole before she was able to leave the VLC parking lot.

She swore to her mentor that it actually was the car. Something didn't feel right about it. After Kevin inspected the car and confirmed that it had been tampered with Ramee seethed and went to investigate who did it. The audacity to mess with his car on his property was one thing; almost killing his protégé was another. After looking at camera footage Ramee discovered that the rat in question had been stealing a lot of the gallery jewels too. It was clear what they had to do. April almost spent her Christmas in the hospital so he would have to spend his in a grave. After a long interrogation they could finally go home while he sunk like the titanic.

The two continued bickering and chatting for a few more minutes as they shook off the adrenaline. Ramee was sitting across the woman polishing his favourite groza. "I'm kind of hungry." April added absently. She was going to make a stop at Burger Shot for some food before she crashed the car and they got distracted. A small part of her wished she stabbed the man for getting in the way of her dinner. At her statement Ramee checked the time on the pocket watch he stole. "It's literally midnight. Where do you want to get food?" April commanded him to go to a kitchen and make her a sandwich, to which the Egyptian pushed her lightly. "Shut the fuck up. I have keys to Uwu we can get something." Before she could smack him she remembered something.
