The officer stood outside of the small holding cell with his hands on his hips. He looked at the inebriated boy in front of him. At 2 o'clock in the morning the owner of Tequilala had called him in because an underage boy snuck into the club and was creating a disturbance. It was a busy Friday night and he was stuck on answering to minor incidents while his superiors were out on the street dealing with the increased levels of crime.

Tinker couldn't do much but call someone to pick the drunk kid up. Chase O'Dell was sitting in the cell half falling asleep after the mess he had made in the club. He was glad that it wouldn't be a complicated process of calling in lawyers and writing statements. The owner did not care to sue or get compensation for the broken items in the popular club. He just wanted to get rid of him.

"Who can I call to pick you up Chase?"

"Nobody." The boy responded. Tommy sighed. He suspected the boy didn't want to get in trouble with his parents but he did not want to watch a drunk kid when he could have been out answering to the meth run and the gang related shooting that was currently going on.

"Chase. Who should I call?"

After a few moments of silence he answered
"My mom and dad."

Tommy assumed the parents were not together and that he wanted both present as a way to get attention. Most of the kids he dealt with in here wanted more attention from their parents and this was their only way to get it. The cadet got consent from the boy to take his phone and call his parents.
"What did you save your father's contact as?" Tinker asked when he couldn't find anyone saved as dad or any other word that would indicate their relationship. The police officer's theory was confirmed when he saw this. A typical rich kid who wanted attention from his busy parents.

Ramee was in the middle of a meth run when he received a call. Apparently Bleach had gotten himself caught while drinking and needed an adult to pick him up. He was glad the kid acknowledged him and Carmella as his parents. He had thought Bleach and Carmella didn't get along very well and was okay with being the only parental figure for Bleach. He was surprised that he considered her a mother. Unfortunately for him there were cops after him and he needed to drive faster and get away before he joined Bleach in the cells. He called Carmella asking her to pick his unofficial son up. Begrudgingly she agreed to go to the police station but let him know that she would need a gift for her efforts.

The other cop on duty walked up to the kid in the cells.  She had told him that his father had called his mother to pick him up. Without engaging in any more conversation she walked away from O'Dell.

Carmella arrived at the police station annoyed. She had to leave her girls night early because of this pest. The blonde didn't dislike Bleach because her fiancé wanted to adopt him, she disliked him because of how he would treat her even when Ramee was around. He was always passive aggressive towards her and would never accept her kindness. She didn't mind kids but Bleach was not at all someone she wanted to take responsibility for. She would much rather adopt someone like Jaylen. At least he was responsible and considerate towards others around him. Jaylen respected Carmella and was always available when she needed help. Too bad Vinny beat her to it.

She was led to the holding cell and saw the kid wearing an expensive looking tan coat with jeans she knew were from KOC. She knew Bleach likely couldn't afford the clothes he was currently wearing. Not too many people in the city were able to buy the coat he was wearing. His clothes reeked of sugary alcohol and cheap perfume. What a waste. It looked like Ramee went on a shopping trip in an act of stepping up from random uncle to father. At least the boy didn't smell bad like how he used to. She brushed her long straight hair out of her face and called out his name so she could take him home.
