April walked out of the mall wearing a new outfit and with her hair and nails done. It was mid-November and the air was so cold that April was tasked with finding an outfit that grabbed attention while allowing her to stay warm. She had wished Mr K had told them earlier so they could be better prepared for the event but she knew her adoptive father never was one to reveal his hand too soon.

The people working in the store were very eager to assist when they saw the popular vlogger and the rich business mogul looming behind her impatiently. She was thankful for their presence because she was terrible at picking out outfits but she knew that it had to reek of money and arrogance. Mari had kindly picked out outfits for everyone attending but April knew she had to go for something different to fit into her role. While her friends could stick to more timeless makeup she had to make sure she looked glamorous. She was happy that it meant she could keep her signature heart blush.

Now that she had a full picture of what to expect she felt better prepared. She put the Chanel and Louis Vuitton shopping bags in the trunk of the Brabham and they were soon on their way. While on the road she texted Lucas to let him know that she would be gone for the weekend and not to bring her food. She also asked him to get more healthy snacks to fill Bleach's fridge for the time she would be away.

One day she had caught Jaylen stealing the boy's fruit cups and she found out that his friends would often come over and browse his fridge. April made sure to have a stern conversation with Jaylen and the others who would steal his food. She was not willing to buy food everyday for young adults that had parents of their own. April cared but she didn't do charity.

Other than that she loved ST. April spent more time with the Street Team members since the incident that landed the boy in jail. 4Head instantly warmed up to her as she did to him. She enjoyed hanging out with the slightly dumb man who reminded her of her estranged brother March.

Ramee glanced at his protégé from the corner of his eye. She was typing at her phone with a big grin on her face. The woman laughed at whatever she read and typed a response back. The taps of her red painted nails hit against the small keys of her burner phone. She had insisted that they stopped at the store to buy a Samsung burner for herself. He didn't understand the woman's insistence on using the brand but he allowed her to waste more time.

Her red hair matched with the lining of the car's exterior was professionally washed and styled. They were three hours behind the rest of the gang but at least the hours spent were well used. She looked ethereal. Often times during their bank jobs April would be joking and allowed those working with her to take the lead but now she was different. The woman seemed to be in a professional bubble he couldn't pop her out of. They had been driving for 30 minutes and she had barely said a word to him. He looked at her once more. He couldn't believe the woman sitting next to him was a doctor at one point in her life.

He could imagine her current serious expression covered by a mask as she worked diligently in scrubs. He also found out that she played instruments. The guitar case stored in the trunk a reminder of his lack of observation. He almost felt like he was sitting next to a stranger.

"Have you eaten?" He asked in an attempt to create conversation. He remembered what Randy told him about a month ago and felt bad for not asking at the mall. The stupid girl had probably not eaten all day. He and the other boys woke at four in the morning in order to grab all the merchandise and send emails to all the CEO's of their respective businesses about their absence. They went in their separate cars allowing the girls to ride together until they reached their rendezvous so that they could catch a few more hours of sleep.

He knew that April liked waking up later in the morning so he knew that she likely had not had breakfast before the girls arrived to pick her up at 7 am. Before she could respond April's phone rang.
