Randy stared at the haggard looking man in front of him. It had been weeks since their trip out of the city and he was a mess. His friend had been over exerting himself with work and doing back to back heists out of the city.
"Are you really going to continue hiding from her?"
The man stopped writing whatever he was busy with. His irritation was palpable. Ramee had been snappy with everyone for the past two weeks and Kevin had asked the British man to get him out of the dark gallery office so that the employees wouldn't be tense and worried that they would be fired if they looked at him the wrong way. Randy had been in the strong smelling office for about five minutes asking him questions and he had yet to respond. He had tried to go around what he suspected was the sore topic but had given up after a few questions. The brooding man had a large stack of paperwork that he was busy working on. The sounds of the flipping papers cut through the foul fumes of the office. After a few moments of silence his friend continued writing on the sheet of paper."I don't know what you are talking about man." He finally said while looking down. He signed the paper, put it aside on top of a stack of other papers and took out another form, still refusing to look at Randy.
"Bro you have got to get out of this office. It's starting to smell like Franny's feet in here." That was a slight exaggeration. Nothing could smell as bad as the small man's feet but the odor in the large office was a close contender. After snooping around and interrogating Miguel and Mari he came up with a theory of what happened. Randy knew that although Ramee was intimidating to those who saw him from afar he was a clingy soft hearted person. He knew that Chang forbidding any romantic relationship between him and his daughter had caused a big rift in their relationship. April was still unaware of the dragon's words to the vulture and he realized that April may have thought Ramee did not care about her.
"When are you going to call her?" He pressed on.
The man stopped writing yet again and finally looked up at him. He had finally snapped."April is doing just fine. She has Miguel and K if she has to discuss anything gang related or otherwise.
"I never said anything about April. I was talking about Carmella. She said you have been avoiding her.
They both knew he was bullshitting. While Carmie did ask in passing about Ramee she didn't really press anyone about his absence. The woman was far too busy with the preparation for her vault heist. She had been stressing about it for months and did not care to address the man's moody behavior. Carmella had even bought herself a nice mansion in Vinewood and moved out of the Tier three apartment the two shared. Randy suspected she was too wrapped up in her new Russian pool boy to concern herself with her distant fiancé. He didn't blame her. While Ramee hadn't slept with anyone else besides her he had basically cheated on her since the start of their relationship. His thoughts were already claimed by the siren and his heart (and his wallet) were presented to her on a golden platter. Unfortunately the blue eyed woman was too blind to even see it. Randy didn't know what happened between them when they were alone at the hotel but he did remember walking in on them kissing once before. It was clear they were attracted to each other but for some reason they didn't communicate with each other.
These two reminded him of SpongeBob for some reason. The softhearted Ramee, SpongeBob, was far too obsessed with the seemingly cold indifferent April, who was Squidward. He couldn't help but feel like Patrick, roped in to their drama."Why are you even so mad at April for? What she did is what anyone else in the gang would have done. You know how K is with secrets. Especially when it involves his daughter."
"But she's MY protégé. Mine. Why am I always the last one to find out about all these things that are happening in her life? Why has everyone taken that from me."
