"Vocat ad me, Vocat ad me, vocat ad me!" your voice got louder, Otto yelped and rolled off of the bed, terrified.
You slowly floated up into the air, your eyes glowing a bright, violent yellow, your body was bent in unnatural angles and you were repeating the same phrase over and over and over again.
"VOCAT AD ME! VOCAT AD ME!" you yelled.
"Y/N, Y/N!" Otto yelled, but you didn't stop.
"VOCAT AD ME!" a burst of energy erupted from your hands, causing Otto to be blasted back. You hovered in the air and faced him, he gasped in horror.
"Idh'yaa..." he muttered, the pieces were slowly coming together for him... This was bad, this was really, really bad.
"Multo diutius amorem meum exspectare non debemus. Adorabunt nos." you muttered as you dropped to the floor with a thump. Otto ran over to you.
"W-what the fuck..." you groaned as Otto steadied you, he was stammering, trying to figure out how he was going to explain to you what he's realized.
"Otto what the hell just happened-" you started.
"I-" Otto stumbled.
"Idh'yaa has awoken!" the leader burst through the doors, and you both jumped.
"...Idh'yaa?" that couldn't be right... she was just a myth, just like her mate Cthulu they were both mythical gods that... these creatures worshipped. Your eyes widened as you came to the same conclusion as Otto, you looked at him and your face fell. He wasn't stupid, he realized it.
"Yes, Idh'yaa, now that the two have awoken inside of you both we can begin preparations for the unity." the leader declared triumphantly.
"No," Otto said, you looked at him, startled.
"...what?" the leader was confused.
"You're to follow our every command, right? Well, I say no, let us go." Otto demanded sternly, his hands shook as he held you. You were too dazed to do much.
"Oh holy one, I am afraid that was true before the unity process began." the leader gazed past Otto, you followed his gaze and gasped.
"No..." you wheezed.
"What is it?" Otto asked. You pointed to the smoldering, vivid, glowing red smoke that was erupting from his back, it was starting to take shape into a mass of tentacles behind him, lashing out, leaving huge gashes into the thick, cold stone that imprisoned you two. Otto looked around, terrified, trying to say something, anything, but he couldn't say anything... What could he say when he didn't know what to even say?
The leader laughed triumphantly, you glared at him as you got up and stumbled towards the bed, you grabbed your knife from under your pillow and gripped it, you spun around and drew your arm back, preparing to throw the knife straight through that mans skull.
Don't. A raspy voice ordered in your head, you stared at your hand in horror as you felt it try to drop the knife, you grunted as you fought to gain control, but whoever was controlling your body was obviously winning. You hissed in pain as your hand dropped the knife, it clattered to the floor.
The leader simply left, his job was complete. Cthulu and Idh'yaa had awoken, and soon a new era of gods would be birthed.
You woke up next to Otto, was it just a bad dream? You started to let out a sigh of relief before you saw Otto's glowing red tentacles squirming around him, he was still asleep... But he woke up after you screamed and fell off the bed, he stood up and looked at you, he screamed as well and fell back.
"YOUR BACK!" You pointed.
"YOUR EYES!" he pointed back.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!"
"THEY'RE ALL OVER THE DAMN PLACE!" he yelled.
You looked down at your arm and screamed, there were blazing yellow eyes scattered all over you, staring right at you...
The world spun as you fainted.
