"...knock me out," Otto muttered.
"W-What?" you breathed.
"Knock me out, b-bang your head against mine-"
"Otto I don't know if-"
"Please, please trust me," he begged.
You sighed, you squeezed your eyes shut as you banged your head against his, successfully knocking him out. The problem was, you knocked yourself out in the process as well.
You woke up yet again in the black void... This time, however, Otto was with you. You tackled him into a hug "Why did you make me do that?" you asked him.
"I needed time to think... And I couldn't do that for a... multitude of reasons," he admitted.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Cthulu roared, you stared up in horror at the behemoth that towered over you, compared to Idh'yaa, he was gargantuan, you let out a terrified scream as you backed away, Otto grabbed your arm. He glared up at Cthulu... How many times had he been with him? You-You couldn't stand a second looking at him, his eyes seared into yours.
" Don't look into his eyes," Otto warned.
"You didn't answer my question." Cthulu snarled.
"I'm going to kill you for this." Idh'yaa sneered.
"You were already going to kill me!" you pointed out, your heart raced, these were... gods, celestial beings beyond your understanding and you were arguing with them?
"Can you even kill us?" Otto asked.
"...what?" Cthulu turned to Otto, he grabbed your hand, gripping it tightly.
"C-Can you even kill us? We are... not the best hosts, would it not be easier to use some of your followers?"
"I agree, and you said that you had been waiting for a very long time, and I have never heard of this drowned moon so it must have happened before recorded history..."
"What if we miss it?" Otto finished your thoughts.
The two gods stayed silent for a moment.
"If you do not do this, we will simply wait for the next drowned moon, with our new hosts-" Idh'yaa started.
"And hopefully they will not ask as many questions as you have." Cthulu finished.
"Well, I am a scientist-" Otto started.
"How are you being so calm right now?" You whispered.
Otto gave a shaky laugh "I have no idea... I am this close to losing my shit." he pinched his fingers.
"There's no space in between them."
Otto just gave a shaky nod, you sighed as you took a deep breath.
"So you would just... let us go?" you asked.
The two gods laughed, your blood turned cold, Idh'yaa's many, many eyes pinned you into place, you gulped.
"Oh no, no we will simply torment you for the rest of your short, sad miserable lives." Cthulu boomed.
"...Do we still get eternity together?"
"What do you think?" Idh'yaa snarled.
"I personally was hoping for a yes?" Otto started.
"It's a no." Cthulu snapped.
"...Please?" Otto added.
"Oh well since you asked SO nicely," Cthulu said sarcastically.
"Wait... Really?" You looked up, straight into Cthulus eyes, they burned into yours. You saw Otto's dead, lifeless eyes, you reached up to touch him. But suddenly millions of tiny, black ants burst out of his mouth, circling his face, and crawling up your arm, you shrieked as you tried to brush them off but they kept coming, they kept coming and you... you smelled rotting flesh, you-you couldn't take it. You curled up into a ball, sobbing. Otto rushed to you.
"It's not real, y/n it's not real," he repeated, you just shook your head, how could it not be real you... you felt them crawl all over you... and then they started to bite. You cried out in pain as the millions of ants dug their pinchers into your skin.
"This is what you will feel if you do not do as we wish," Idh'yaa said coldly.
You just screamed in response, they... they were going to your face, you started to claw at your face wildly they had to stop, they had to get off, you felt Otto's hands grab your own and pull them away from your face, your nails were bloodied.
"NO! NO THEY-" they had entered your mouth, you gasped for air, you were going to die...
"FINE! FINE! YOU WIN! Just-Just stop this." Otto pleaded.
And just as it happened, the ants were gone, and the smell of rotting flesh was gone. You let out a sigh of relief, it-it was over.
"Do you promise to complete the unification?" Idh'yaa asked.
Otto looked down at your shaking body, you gave a small nod, you wanted it to be over. "...yes." he finally said in a shaky voice.
"Good. And we will uphold our end of the deal, you will have paradise together. I just wish it wasn't so much of a... hassle." Cthulu snarled, there was a flash of light and a bright, blinding pain.
And then you were back into the ritual chamber, staring up at the drowned moon, bright as ever. Your head throbbed, you must have fallen to the ground, the cold stone seeped away any of the warmth that you might have still had. Otto lay next to you, rubbing his head, you took his hand and squeezed it.
"Y-You have to do it," you said in a shaky voice.
He shook his head as he sat up, you sat up and kissed him on the forehead. "I-I know that you're scared..." you trailed off. "But we have to do this."
"We're going to destroy the world," he muttered.
"The world was going to destroy themselves anyway," you reassured him... but also yourself. You knew that you were being selfish, but-but what else were you supposed to do? "Please Otto I-I can't go through that again." your skin still tingled from the ants... there were so many of them. You lay down and spread your legs, Otto sighed as he slowly slid himself into you again, you let out a gasp as he began moving in and out of you, you let out a soft moan when you felt his thumb circle your clit.
"We-We might as well enjoy ourselves..." Otto panted.
"D-Don't stop."
"I wish I could," he muttered, you could tell yet again that he was getting close... You wrapped your legs around him and pulled yourself closer to him so he couldn't pull out, you felt him twitch inside of you.
"Please, Otto," you begged, you-you just wanted to spend eternity with him.
He let out a moan as his warmth filled you, tears fell down his face, and your heart broke. As soon as you were sure that it was done, you unwrapped your legs around him and he wrapped you into a hug.
"I-I'm so sorry." he sobbed, you rubbed him on the back, your own eyes tearing up.
"It's ok, it's o-ok." you muttered.
"I forgive you."
