Sonic POV: Tails...

Amy: Sonic! You're awake! Thank goodness!

Amy looked over to him. They were all chained to the wall. But something had changed. Sonic looked at his leg.

Sonic: What is this...?

Amy: Shockers. In case Tails comes for us.

Sonic looked up.

Sonic: You're smart Eggman. Unfortunately, not smart enough.

Eggman turned around.

Eggman: And why is that, Sonic?

Sonic: You've forgotten Tails.

Eggman: Have I really? Or have you just been so ignorant to notice him?

Eggman turned back around and continued his work.

Sonic POV: What does he mean?

???: He's right you know.

Sonic looked up at where the voice was coming from.

Sonic: Tails...

Tails: I don't want to hear it Sonic.

Everyone looked around confused.

Shadow: What happened after I left?

Sonic didn't say anything.

Tails: Ask Sonic. It was his fault.

Silver: Tails? Why are you up there?

Tails: Eggman was lazy and didn't want to deal with you guys so he put me in a different cage. That's what he said.

Eggman: I still hold true to that. Now. Let's begin.

The chains around Tails dropped. Tails felt his wrists.

Tails: Guess I'm first.

Tails scowled at Eggman. Eggman smiled back.

Sonic: Just you wait till that smile is wiped off your face Eggman!

Eggman: My friend, the smirk will stay there. Your's however, will fade.

Tails fell to the ground.

Silver: Tails!

Eggman motioned for his robots to pick him up. He was placed in a chamber. Sonic just stared. Everyone was horrified. Eggman had the upper hand, everyone knew it.

Amy POV: What is he gonna do to Tails!?

A black curtain hid Tails, no one could see what was happening. Everything was silent.

When finally, something broke it.

Tails: AGHHHHHH!

Sonic: TAILS!

Eggman cackled with evil rage.

Eggman: AT LAST! MY MASTERPIECE HAS BEEN FINISHED!

Eggman pulled the curtain.

Everyone looked in horror. There was Tails, sitting there. But something was wrong.

Sonic: Tails...?

Tails made no movement.

Amy: YOU KILLED HIM!

Amy yelled, tears forming in her eyes. Cream cried.

Eggman: Get up, you mangy mammal.

Eggman kicked him lightly. He paused for a moment. Sadly, still no movement from Tails.

Eggman: I- I- I swear this wasn't what was supposed to happen!

Eggman POV: They'll end me for sure!

For the first time in his life, Eggman felt sorrow. He felt scared.

Sonic: Tails... Tails... Tails... Tails... Tails...

Amy: S-sonic?

Shadow: Shut up Sonic! We all lost Tails! It's not only your sorrow!

Knuckles: Shadow. You know what Tails was to Sonic. Enough of this.

Shadow backed down.

Sonic: S-sorry Shadow...

Amy: You'll pay for this Eggman!

Eggman: I promise you! I'm never wrong! This isn't what should of happened!

Sonic: There's a first for everything, Eggman. But you happened to mess up at this time. Tails is dead!

Cream: I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU I HATE YOU I HATE YOU!! (Tails was like a father to Cream.)

Amy: Cream! Cream calm down!

At this point, everyone was crying. Whether it be lots of tears like Cream, or only a few like Shadow.

Cream pulled on her chains as hard as she could.

Cream: I HATE YOU EGGMAN!

Blaze: Cream.

Cream turned, her vision blurry with tears.

Blaze: I know you hate him. Most of us do right now.

Cream: AGHHHH!

Cream collapsed to the floor. Everyone turned to Eggman, who had a controller in his hand.

Eggman turned his head too, meeting their states.

Eggman: What? Figured you'd want some silence.

Sonic: Silence!? Her being dead is fucking silence!?

Eggman: She's not dead. She's passed out.

Shadow POV: Wait...

Shadow *whisper*: What are you up to... Faker...

Knuckles *whisper*: Shadow? You haven't called him that in such a long time... Why did you start again...?

Shadow *whisper*: Don't you notice? Sonic is acting more angry about Cream than he is Tails.
