Setting: Eggman's Base

Shadow *whisper*: Isn't that something to point out?

Knuckles *whisper*: You're right...

Sonic POV: This stupid mother fucker... Why... He killed Tails...

Sonic: EGGMAN I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD WHEN I GET OUT OF HERE I WILL £!& ¥()/ @&@£¢ \!€# #¥ \!€#!!!!

Amy: S-sonic...?

Knuckles: Sonic... Calm... Down...

Knuckles words were each separated by a short breath.

Knuckles: I'd... recognize... that... rage... anywhere...

Shadow: Knuckles? What rage!?

Knuckles went unconscious.

Shadow: Knuckles!! Knuckles. Knuckles...

Shadow soon fainted too.

Silver: What in the world is going on!? Shadow is NOT THE TYPE OF PERSON TO FAINT!!

Blaze: Silver cool down...

Rouge: HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO STAY CALM WHEN THREE OF THEM HAVE FAINTED, ONE OF THEM IS DEAD, AND ONLY GOD KNOWS WHAT'S HAPPENING TO SONIC!?

Blaze: YOU THINK I KNOW!? IM TRYING TO STAY POSITIVE!!

Rouge: POSITIVITY ISN'T REALLY WHAT WE NEED RIGHT NOW BLAZE.

Eggman POV: What's going on... I might need to take Sonic out too...

Eggman pushed the button to open Sonic's chains and teleport him into the chamber.

Amy: SONIC!!

Everyone turned their heads to Amy who was staring at the chamber. They looked too.

Silver: Are you kidding me...

Silver put his hand to his mouth.

Amy: DON'T YOU DARE KILL HIM EGGMAN!!

The black curtain pulled around and the machine did it's work. Once again, everyone watched in horror. And once again, the horrifying scream shot out.

Sonic: AGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Amy: SONIC!!! SONIC... Sonic....

The black curtain pulled away again and there was Sonic, standing there. He collapsed.

Eggman POV: I'll admit... I never wanted to kill them... But I can't let my pride slip.

Eggman: So who's next!?

Nobody spoke. The base was filled with horror, silence, and tears.

The silence lasted for a solid minute before someone grumbled.

???: Ugh...

Amy's ears perked up and she looked up to the noise.

There she saw him. Tails. Alive.

Amy: TAILS!!!

Tails got up, and made no notice to her.

Rouge: Tails?

Silver: Tails what are you doing...?

Tails: Why are you guys looking at me? Who are you? Why are you calling me Tails?

Eggman: I- I can't believe it. IT WORKED!!

Tails: Who are you? What worked?

Eggman: I'm Eggman.

Tails: Nice to meet you Eggman! I'm-

Tails paused.

Tails: I don't know my name...

Eggman POV: I should give him a new evil name. What about...

Eggman: Your name is Tailed Menace. Tail for short.

Tail: I like my name! Is Menace my last name?

Eggman: Yes.

Amy: No! Your name is Tails!

Tail: Yeah! Tail!

Tail looked at Eggman.

Tail: So... What worked?

Eggman: Well... You see those people in the cages?

Tail: Yeah?

Eggman: They brain washed you and made you a villain. What worked was the brain washing back to be a hero! That blue one over there was in the same situation as you. But not to fear! I am a hero and have saved you both!

Tail: Wow! Thank you so much Eggman!

Blaze: Tails no! He's the villain! We're the heroes!

Tail: As if I'll believe that, villain.

Everyone was shocked.

Sonic: Ugh... What's happening?

Eggman: Hello Blue Devil.

Blue: Is that my name?

Tail: Hello Blue!

Blue looked over at Tail. He blushed.

Blue POV: He's kinda cute...

Tail POV: Is he blushing? Aw. How cute.

They both stared blushing for a while until Eggman broke the silence.

Eggman: Well Tail, why don't you introduce yourself and me, and I'll deal with these guys!

Eggman took them to a separate room, and Tail and Blue just talked. Eggman came back and escorted them to a room.

Eggman: You too can stay in here.

Tail: But there's only one bed?

Eggman: I know, unfortunately the villains have stolen some of my hard earned money and so we had to make some budget costs...

Blue: Dang villains.

Tail: Oh! That's okay. Have a good sleep Eggman!

Eggman: You too!

He closed the door and locked it.

Eggman POV: I don't care if one of them sleeps on the floor.

Blue: Want to sleep on the bed?

Tail: No, you can.

Blue: Well then why don't we both?

Tail: Sure! Alright!

They got comfy on the bed. As they were cuddling, Tail whispered something.

Tails: I know it's you, Sonic.

Sonic: Me too buddy.

He kissed Tails on the forehead.

Sonic: Love you.

Tails kissed him on the lips.

Tails: I love you too. And I'm sorry.

Sonic: All is forgiven. I'm sorry too.

Tails kissed him again.

Tails: No problem. I missed you.

Sonic: Missed you too buddy.

Sonic kissed Tails on the lips once more before they drifted off to sleep.
