Member 6 : Osore behind you!

A swing of an axe, kills a flying creature that had tried to attack Osore from behind.

Osore : Heh, thanks man.

The fellow member who had called out to Osore felt like they were on cloud nine. Meanwhile, Kiru had just eliminated a few more flying creatures that came in from dense foliage.

Kiru : SURPRISE ATTACK!

Kiru pounces onto a creature that was running towards the defenders. He stabs it with a large knife and right into its heart. A lot of blood spills from the creature and some even landed on Kiru's face. 

Defender 9 : Kiru Senpai is amazing!

Kiru gives a wink.

Kiru : Of course! You're doing
a good job too!

Kiru leaves to attack more monsters, leaving the defender feeling as if he was in heaven. He starts freaking out as the other defender beside him asks him to focus. The guild is currently raiding an Orika and everything has been going smoothly so far. Akumo has been observing everybody as he fights. The boosts they got from their Fallen Angels have helped them tremendously. Akumo has also found out that he needs to gain affection in order to use his 'see through' power. According to his Fallen Angel's word, he needs to do sacrificial acts or acts of kindness in order to improve his affection with someone. Though, doing sacrificial acts were able to gain more affection than acts of kindness although more risky. So far, Akumo has managed to get everyone's affection in the guild to level 1. Everyone except Hokoro. Akumo has tried acts of kindness on him, but they were not working.

Hence, he concluded that he needed to do a sacrificial act in order to improve Hokoro's affection with him. A crawling creature pounces at Akumo. The male stabs it immediately with a tentacle, already knowing that it was coming. The wave was almost cleared. They will be proceeding on with the boss fight soon. Anyhow, Akumo thinks that Hokoro needs a sacrificial act because of him being a slave. Yes, Machigai had sent him the information, and Hokoro was indeed a slave of that man. When Akumo first saw that information, he sincerely felt bad for him. No wonder he was in that horrible state when he first found him. That was why the male found himself caring a lot for Hokoro these days. Him staying at the guild has improved his mental health. He could see Hokoro interacting with members more, which was a good sign.

Kiru : Boss boss! We're done!

Kiru pounces onto Akumo and hugs him tightly.

Akumo : Good job, let's proceed to the final boss.

Kiru : Yay!!

The guild begins proceeding over to the boss room. They were full of confidence due to their continuous victories. The guild has certainly improved a lot. Akumo leads the guild as usual, marching forward, leaving the bloody mess behind. Besides Hokoro's mental health improving, Akumo has noticed that his skills have not improved. It was as if he was stuck at the same level. This has discouraged Hokoro a lot but members of the guild (mostly Kiru) always encouraged him, saying he did a good job. Akumo, on the other hand, is trying to get to the bottom of this. He found it puzzling. If everyone could get stronger why couldn't Hokoro? Akumo has been trying to find out the problem all this time, but so far nothing has turned up. He has tried searching up the Internet, but there was no such case of someone not getting stronger as they improve in ranks. The guild finally reached the boss room, a red ogre stands in front of them. A black pearl necklace strings across its neck. It wears a broken rusted gold crown on its head. Some kind of symbol tattoo was on the right of its chest.
