Ranking Up

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

Akumo awakens with a blurry vision. He brings what seems to be his hands onto his face and begins to rub his eyes. Yep, they were definitely his hands. After some rubbing and blinking, Akumo's vision finally adjusts. He slowly sits himself up. He looks around to find himself in some kind of hospital bed. Beside him was advanced  medical equipment that is being used to treat him. A gigantic glass window sits to the left with plain walls covering the room. A sofa sits below the window and beside it a coffee table.

A plant was sitting in a corner as well but that was about it for this small, simple and plain room. Then, Akumo feels some kind of weight on him. He looks down to find Yumemiro sleeping. The male slowly wakes up and meets eyes with him.

Yumemiro: Aku?

Yumemiro gets up and stretches.

Yumemiro : You're awake! I'm so happy!

Yumemiro gives Akumo a bright smile that seemed to have lit up the entire room.

Akumo : Yeah...Uh what happened?

Yumemiro: We came to save you, you dummy!

Akumo : Ah right.

Akumo remembers seeing a blinding light before he passed out. It seems that the Haven Guild had rescued them.

Akumo : What about my guild members? And Osore and Kiru?

Yumemiro : Wow, you sure care a lot about your members. Anyhow, they're okay! We managed to save the remaining few that were alive! Osore and Kiru are safe too so you don't have to worry!

Akumo lets out a sigh of relief. Just then, someone rushes into the the room.

Kiru : Boss!

It was Kiru. He excitedly jumps up and down when he sees that his boss is awake. His hyper energetic energy spreads across the room. He clearly is very happy to see his boss alive.

Kiru : Omg omg omg! I thought you were going to die! And I was like I didn't want to pay for your funeral fees and everything was a mess and then your brother came and I was like omg! We're saved and then they all took us out of the portal and sent to the hospital and like a lot of our members managed to heal and-

Akumo : Kiru.

Kiru : Ah. I am so sorry! I started rambling again!

Yumemiro: Hehe it's okay, you're just excited to see your boss!

Kiru : Oh oh! I forgot to mention something important! We ranked up!

Kiru says this while throwing his arms in the air. Akumo looks very surprised.

Akumo : We did?

Yumemiro : Yep! Apparently the Ryugon only changed to an A Rank when you defeated the E Rank form. We don't really know how that happened and the authorities are still investigating, but you guys ranked up.

Kiru : Yeah yeah! We ranked up to an E Rank boss! And E Rank! We practically skipped a rank!

Akumo : Wow...
