The group continues walking on and killing off many monsters. Akumo also met a lot of his members along the way as well as some Haven Guild members. His team was really becoming bigger and bigger. His monster kill count was also increasing. He is now one step closer to his goal of leaving this place. So far, nobody has suspected who they are yet, so that is a good sign. Though they would definitely be surprised if they found out afterwards but Akumo pushes that thought aside for now. Currently, they are heading to their first mini boss. There are a total of three mini bosses for them to defeat before they get to the big guy. Akumo's strategy is to defeat these creatures as fast as he can, so he can reach the big guy faster and get out of here. Of course, that would be easier said than done. After all, he had absolutely no clue what he was up against and having seen all those fusion monsters, these mini bosses will be sure to put up a fight with them.

In fact, Kiru has been trying to make guesses on which animals would be fused together for the miniboss.

- Kiru : Omg! Imagine if they combined animals and objects together!! -

- That would be one hell of fight -

- Kiru : I think it would be super fun!! I want to face up against some cat scissor monster!! -

Speaking of cat scissor monsters, they have just arrived at the first mini boss room. They look around but find no creature in sight. - Hmm, something is wrong - Akumo thinks. Then they hear squeaking sounds. Akumo freezes immediately. Was. That. The. Sound. Of. Mice? The male felt like he couldn't move. He is shaking all over and is breaking into cold sweat. Jesus, he's a king and he acts like this? Akumo tries to calm himself down but it is not working. He then feels a soothing warmth on his hand. The male looks down to see the queen hugging onto his arm, giving him a bright smile. The look on her face said 'I'll protect you!'. Akumo smiles back. Kiru really knows how to comfort people. However, before he could even cherish that beautiful smile, big giant mouse snake creatures jumped through the wall. Yumemiro was quick to shoot arrows at them, preventing them for hurting the king.

The mice jumped away at the arrows and hissed at them. Those were some dangerous mice. Akumo pulls out his sword. He is still sweating, but he is the king after all. Kings do not falter and they protect their kingdom. He is supposed to be the one leading the group. With that said, he takes a breath.

Akumo : Everyone! CHARGE!!!!

Everyone goes in for the fight immediately. Their firey rage could be felt as they ran towards the big mice creatures. Akumo goes in as well, jumping up to attack from the sky. He plunges downwards and stabs into one of the mice's body. The mouse lets out a loud shriek and tries to shake Akumo off. The male holds on and starts dragging the sword down to cause a wound. Meanwhile, Kiru is elegantly and gracefully using his knife skills to cause big scratches on the mice. So far, he has managed to get four mice to start bleeding out. Haigoku was a little more brutal though. He literally sliced the mice into pieces using his mesh knife. A mesh made with knives. Very sharp and can slice things in half. Osore was also going on a killing spree, where he targeted the mice which were bleeding out. The male sliced at the wounds, chopping their foot off, their tail off and it was overall a very gruesome scene. But I guess no scene can be as gruesome as what Haigoku was doing.

Anyhow, Yumemiro wanted to do something too so he summoned about a million arrows that he shot at the creatures and all were inflicted with posion. He seems to be really trying to show off and looks to be fighting against Kiru. They were literally having a showoff contest out of nowhere. Meanwhile, Nozomi and Machigai just sat in a corner and sent out tons of fireballs at the creatures. They watched them burn to smithereens as they ate some delicious food. Their job sure did seem easy. A lot of the other members were doing their best as well. Some even created catapults which they used to lunge big spike balls at the creatures. It took a while because the mice were so big and had snake tails but the team were quick to wipe them out. Akumo felt especially fulfilled because of reasons he will not speak off. Anyhow, that was just the beginning because the real mini boss has appeared and guess what? It's a cat scissors monster.
