Hokoro : Ngh...Where am I...?

??? : *Gasps* You're awake! I'm so happy!

Someone hugs Hokoro as soon as he woke up. The hug was very tight.

Hokoro : Uh...Who are you?

The person quickly parts.

Person : It's me! Aoru! You're best friend, remember?

Hokoro pauses for a second. In front of him was the male we saw earlier. He reveals himself to be the best friend of Hokoro. There was silence for a while before Hokoro seems to be hit with a sudden realisation. This time, Hokoro was the one who pulled the other into a hug.

Hokoro : You're alive!

Aoru : Hehe, yeah...I thought you were a goner earlier.

The two part once more and were happy to see each other.

Hokoro : Where are we though? I don't really remember what happened before other than a voice

Hokoro looks around, observing the building's poor state. Droplets of water fell from cracks from the ceiling. Judging that Hokoro is with Aoru, it seems that he has been thrown into the same cell as him.

Aoru : I think he lured you here...I was hoping you wouldn't come, but I guess that didn't work...

Hokoro : And what happened to you?

Hokoro notices the bruises and scratches on Aoru's body. A concerned look flashes across his face immediately. The male, on instinct, began inspecting those bruises and scratches, trying to determine their severity. 

Aoru : Oh! These are nothing hehe, it's fine, really! I-OW!

Hokoro gently touches one of Aoru's bruises. 

Hokoro : You call that alright?

Tiny tears formed at the
edges of Aoru's eyes.

Aoru : I'm fine...

Hokoro lets out a sigh.

Hokoro : You've got to stop lying to me.

Aoru : I just...don't want to worry you...

Hokoro places a hand on Aoru's face.

Hokoro : Hey, I told you before. Your problem is my problem. So don't hide anything from me okay?

Hokoro gives a smile. Aoru smiles back.

It seems you two are getting along well.

Hokoro freezes. Chills ran down his spine. That man was standing right in front of him, behind the cell bars. He is watching them with great content.

You two look so cute.

Hokoro was quick to pull Aoru close to him. He seems to have become quite defensive.
