Impending doom

It has been a few minutes since they started running. They were hunted down with arrows, magic spells and all sorts of stuff. Akumo even almost stepped into a trap set by Haigoku. At least he knows that he has a good Kijiya.

Anyhow, they are now running through the forest and have managed to speed ahead. Akumo pulls Kiru down into the bushes. Some people run past them. Akumo manages to catch his breath.

Kiru : What are we going to do?

Kiru whispers.

Akumo : We'll find somewhere to hideout for now. Come with me.

The male leads the way as they went through the bushes, keeping themselves under the shrubbery's safety.

Kiru isn't really used to this sort of thing, and he was wearing heels so his legs started to hurt after a while. Akumo tells him to hold on for now and says that he would find them somewhere to rest soon.

The male searches around the place and finally comes across a cave. He lets Kiru head in first so he could rest and followed behind. They went a little deep into the cave so that those who were chasing them wouldn't suspect them being inside. The darkness will protect them.

Akumo uses his magic to light up the place a little. They can now see each other's faces.

Kiru : Boss, my leg hurts!!

Kiru whines. Akumo places his magic light aside and uses both hands to massage Kiru's legs.

Akumo : Is this better?

Kiru nods. Akumo continues to massage his legs as the two sit in the darkness. Only the tiny light accompanied them in this dark abyss.

Kiru : ...Boss, are you really going to kill them?

Akumo : Of course not.

Kiru : Then what are you going to do?

Akumo : I'll come up with a plan to get us all out of this hell hole.

Kiru : But...What if there's no way out of this situation?

Akumo caresses Kiru's face. He gives him a reassuring smile.

Akumo : Don't worry. I will find a way.

Kiru smiles back. He has to stay hopeful. If Akumo can stay optimistic in this situation, then he surely can. With Akumo by his side, nothing can go wrong.

After getting a nice massage, Kiru feels much better.

Kiru : I really need to get rid of this dress though. It's getting a little annoying.

Kiru looks down at his dirty dress. It was all messed up and full of dirt. That dress has been through a lot.

Akumo : Yes. It will definitely hold us back.

Akumo thinks for a moment. The male would've given Kiru his sword, but he had lost it while running. Then he looks up. Above him were stone icicles. Their pointy ends, almost touching them. Akumo uses his entire strength to break the stone icicles and get a piece. It is fortunate that he is able to gain back some of his strength.
