The rest of the school time passed quickly enough. Soon it was time to leave. Time to go home. Surprisingly, Nathan and Dylan travelled on the same bus route as Rach and me. Emma went by car in the opposite direction. We four boarded the bus and got our tickets. Our homes were a half hour ride and we all lived within a five block radius of each other. As expected, Rach sat with Dylan while I sat with Nathan. The four of us laughed and joked throughout the ride.

 The boys got off first. Before leaving, we exchanged our numbers and also gave the boys Emma's number. The five of us became friends faster than we expected.

After the boys left, I shifted seats with a young woman and sat with Rach. She leaned on my shoulder and sighed contentedly.

"Oh Kaylen, I really really like Dylan. His eyes are the prettiest shade of blue. When he smiles, he gets this cute dimple on his cheeks which is really difficult for me to resist. And you know what? I think he likes me back! He was constantly holding my hand or touching them for some reason or the other making us both go red. Oh! He is so cute!" Rachel was clearly smitten by her lab partner.

I couldn't help smile at her. She was so sweet. Dylan seemed like a good person. He was a good listener. Well, if he could listen to Rachel's chatter the whole time, he must have a hell lot of patience. No offense was intended, I just loved Rachel so much.

We finally reached home. I freshened up, and while I was nibbling on some cookies, logged on to my computer. As planned, Em and Rach were online.

Rach02: Girls! Dylan is sooooooo cuteee! He is irresistible.

EmmaShirley: Oh you lucky Bitch. My partner is okay. But he is a complete dumb head. He is so exasperating. >.<

Watching Emma rant made me laugh.

EmmaShirley: Kay... say something. Even your partner is kinda cute. Though I must admit, Dylan beats him any day ;)

I smirked and replied.

Kaykay: Oh I don't care...he is cute enough for me:P

EmmaShirley: Woahhh! OOOOOOOOO

Rach02: Kay.... He ha ha.

I privately messaged Rach immediately.

"Rachel, please don't say anything about my feelings yet. I don't want to ruin stuff before it even happens."

I myself wasn't sure what I thought about Nathan. He seemed nice and gentle. I was infatuated by him.
