Before you wonder, this is based around a week or so after the return from the cabin.
Enjoy :)

"Happy Birthday Kaylen!"
I woke up to the screaming of ten people at twelve in the night.
"Huh?" That was all I said. In my defence, I was really sleepy, exhausted from volleyball practice the day before.
"Morning babe! It is your 16th birthday. You can freaking drive now." Rachel screamed and stirred me out of my sleep.
I was 16. Finally. I could get my own driving licence and finally learn how to drive. I grinned at everyone. "Thanks guys. Means a lot. But it's really late now. Don't go home. Stay over."
"What makes you think we were going to go?" Robert smirked and I noticed that everyone carrying a small bag.
A sleepover on my birthday! Life couldn't be more perfect. I just went to the bathroom to freshen up a bit. When I came out, Mom and Dad handed me an envelope.
"What is it?" I asked them, curious. "Open and see sweetheart." Dad grinned at me. I tore open the envelope and found eight tickets to the Summer Fair. I jumped up and down in joy. "Thank you so much Mom! Thanks Dad." I launched into a hug. They chuckled and Dad kissed my forehead.
Austin shyly came forward. "Happy Birthday Kaylen. I, um, have something for you." He handed me a fairly large box. I opened it and tears sprung to my eyes. Inside the box lay the most beautiful dress I had ever seen and on top of it was a tiny bracelet. The dress was sky blue in colour. It had spaghetti straps with a decent neckline. There were black buttons down the front with a blue bow at the side. The bracelet was handmade. It looked to be a charm bracelet. Austin had actually managed to carve I love you sister on wood and attached it as a charm. He even made tiny silver hearts and attached them.
"It is beautiful Austin. Where did you learn woodwork?" I pulled him into a bear hug. "Dad taught me." I looked over at Dad and saw a hint of pride in his eyes.
"Okay kids. Listen. You can do whatever you want right now. You can then go to the fair at around ten. That it when it will open. Lunch is on us. Enjoy the whole day and come back soon okay."
My family left the room. "Guys, I am so sorry I am being a spoilsport, but I am really tired. Volleyball practice was hard." I looked at Emma who was surprisingly already coiled up on my bean bag, fast asleep. We all laughed. "Well you get the picture." I grinned.
"Well, I am pretty sleepy too. I guess I will just join Em and sleep." She went over to the bean back, nudged Emma slightly to the side and curled up beside her.
I mean, who sleeps on a sleepover? But then I wouldn't blame her. I was really tired too.
Before I knew it, the rest of us were scrunched up on the bed, which was meant for two, but somehow Dylan interpreted it as meant for five. Before we knew it, we were all fast asleep.
