The finale!

It was a week since me and Emma eavesdropped on Tiffany. Today was definitely going to be an eventful day. The plan was made and set. I had a feeling that today would be when it would be put into action.

I got dressed as quickly as I could. With my fingers shaking and entire body perked up with anticipation, getting anything done today was going to be task. I rushed to the bus stop to join Rachel.
"What's up with you? Why so jittery? It isn't so cold out today." Rachel asked.
"Let's meet up with the guys and I will tell you."
Now, that sent Rachel into anticipation as well. The boys got on there stops and slipped into the seats we had saved for them. Rachel looked at me expectantly and I rolled my eyes.
"Okay guys, there is something I need to tell you..." I began and all three of them leaned towards me expectantly. I kept my voice down and relayed the entire plan to them. Dylan and Nathan looked at each other and grinned and Rachel simply giggled in glee.
"Nice work done there Kay. You were lucky you got to record everything." Nathan said out a bit too loud and was followed by three frantic "SHH"s.
We reached school at our usual time. Met Ashley and Emma at the gate. Emma gave me a wink and grinned while I filled up Ashley on the latest developments.
Ashley was a bit bummed out that she couldn't use any of her 'epic' and violent ideas but agreed nevertheless.
We were walking towards class when I suddenly brushed pass Jonathan. I gave him the cold shoulder. He had opened his mouth to say something, but seeing my cold stare he probably backed off and turned to his locker. Not a moment later, Tiffany appeared trying to coo all over him and gave me a cocky smile.
"Why, going after my man again Tiffany? Or was that one kiss not enough?" I said and earned high fives from all the girls. Some of the people noticed and began muttering. Tiffany glared at me and I smiled at her sweetly and walked on.
I entered my class, plopped down next to my usual seat and thus began the day, my stomach still fluttering from the gut feeling I had that something would happen today.

After the first half where I managed to forget my maths homework (again), almost setting the chemistry lab on fire thanks to my jittery hands and getting yelled at by Coach during gym, my gut feeling still didn't disappear. Just then, as I was making my way to the canteen, the speaker crackled.
"Hello children. I am happy to announce that this year Woodcrest High is holding the Annual Prom as usual, but with a minor change. This year, instead of having a themed party for all grades, we will only have the Junior-Senior Prom this year due to some budget cuts. No sophomores or freshmen allowed. Thank you."
My ears perked up at the mention of the annual prom and the butterflies just began fluttering faster.
I made my way to the cafeteria and joined our usual table. We were chattering merrily away when suddenly Tiffany stood up on her table and clapped out loud.
"Well, since everyone knows it's time for prom let me tell all you guys in the corner," she pointed at a bunch of punks "that before you even think about asking me out, I am already going to ask someone else."
