The bell rang loud and clear signifying the end of our finals. I submitted my paper in relief and jumped out of class into the waiting arms of Jonathan, happy that this momentary torture had finally come to an end.

"Get a room guys." Someone said and I rolled my eyes. Before I could get a single word out of my mouth, the speaker blared,

"All students are required to assemble in the canteen for an important announcement. It will take only two minutes of your precious time."

"Why the assembly hall now?" Rachel slipped behind me, our arms entwining. "God knows why." Where are the others?" I asked her. "There is Ashley and Dylan coming right up. I have no idea about Em, Robert and Nathan." I ignored the last name and we stood there waiting for the others.

Suddenly, a huge hand clamped around my mouth and held me so right I couldn't move. Two pairs of hands started tickling me.

"Stop it guys! Please! AHHH!" I was giggling and when the torturous hands finally stopped, I whipped around to see Robert and Emma grinning at me. Nathan stood some feet away but I conveniently ignored him.

Together we all made our way to canteen. Our principal was standing near the counters, a microphone in hand. "Good morning students. All of you seem really happy that the exams have ended." A cheer erupted and Princi smiled and continued, "I know you guys will be happy to know that, all freshman have been exempted from project work this term. Rest all, not so much."

All freshmen erupted in cheers. The others groaned.

"Guys! Come on, now that we have no submission stress, let's go somewhere please!" Ashley was looking at us with the face of a super excited child. "Yeah! Let's go!" "Come on!" "Ya sure."

"I don't know"

Everyone stared at me shocked. "Why not? Now what studies do you have to do Kay?" Emma looked at me, an exasperated look on her face. I looked down towards my shoes. "I don't really want to leave Aus alone in the home now. Mom frequently leaves the house nowadays." I whispered softly.

They all looked at each other. "I guess we cannot force you Kay. But invite Jon along for us. And he gives some crap about not coming because you won't, tell him I'll give him hell." Dylan grinned. I laughed as well. "Don't worry, I won't let that happen."

"So now the main question is, where to go?." Rachel piped up.

"Well, my parents have a cabin down at the lakeside. We could go there. It's a cabin in the woods." Robert spoke up.
