I Need Your Love
— shaggymedia

"Wishing I could hold you now,
When you were for me.
I was not there for you, I was too blind.
Couldn't see what you did for me,
Now I don't know to do,
I'll be right here for you."

Diary Entry #36

Misako was right. She's always right. I mean between her, Wu, and usually my mother, they may as well have predicted the future. Although in saying that, the thing Misako was right about is that the Bounty was a ship, meaning it could float and sail like said ship. So for her to be right really wasn't that difficult. I mean my dead brother could've made the same comment and been right. Anyways.

This journal entry is frankly more severe than whining about how incompetent and incredibly stupid we tend to be, but rather the fact that the little prophecy I'm in, wink wink, has been coming to light more often now. We took off from the port on the North-Eastern coastline some hours (day?) ago and it's been pretty settled. Surprisingly, Kai was the only one seasick and so by dusk he'd already called it in for the night. I got a great photo of that too, I might have to attempt a sketch later.

Continuing, once we had all gone to sleep and what not, I had a really weird dream. Like the vision I saw after I had fainted which ended up being of the Overlord. Unlike the vision however, my dream had consisted of an old, large antique clock ticking away. Although it seemed to be out in the middle of rocks again. But perhaps it was a sign of getting closer to the Dark Island. I hoped so anyway.

I should also probably tell my mother and the other adults sooner rather than later, but I had a feeling that perhaps focusing on what might be rather than what currently and definitely is might not be a smart option. I guess that's all for now then.

Clicking the ball tip of the pen away, I place it back into the journal and stuff it back into the duffel bag of personal belongings that didn't include Ninja Gi's or weapons.

It was still early morning, and I was already in my ninja attire, but I really couldn't be bothered training. Not when my head was clouded with the impending battle of Good and Evil, my own prophecy, and the fact that we could be arriving at the Dark Island any minute—

Unfortunately my internal thoughts were rudely interrupted by the Bounty jolting forward slightly as it hit something firm enough to quickly stabilise the ship. Walking upstairs to the deck, I manage to find that in fact we had come across a land covered in countless grains of sand that further led to a tropical paradise. What in the fuck type of Dark Island is this? A go to holiday destination built on a volcano or some shit?

The breeze began to pick up softly as it whistled through the sails above, although the Bounty went no where. I assumed despite the ship being nose deep into the sand, it was still very much possible to move if the tide came up too high so I made my way into the bridge and found the control that looked like it released the anchor.

By the time I had used it Lloyd was up and standing in the door frame that had said door removed. So it was more of an archway if anything.

"What's got you up so early?" The bright blonde asks with a playful smile, his arms folded against his chest as if trying to making himself seem bigger or even older. It was almost endearing how he tried so hard to be something or someone in front of me lately whenever we did speak.

"Same as you, probably." I shrug, finding my legs subtly drawing themselves closer to Lloyd's presence. "Felt the jolt of the Bounty and came up to see what the hell was going on."
