PINAGLAPAT NI CANDY ang labi habang nakatingin sa report na sinend sa kanya ni Thomas
"Ahh am I late?"
Nag-angat sya ng tingin at sinarado ang laptop "I'm just early. Upo ka" sabi nya at nilagay sa bag ang laptop "You want anything? Tea or coffee? Or should we order pancakes? They make good pancakes here"
"I would love to have those pancakes" sabi ni Leif
Napangiti sya at tumawag ng waiter
"Good morning, Miss Candy and Sir"
"Good morning too, Bryan. Pancakes and breakfast meal set B. I want frappe" nilingon nya si Leif "Ikaw?"
"One espresso please"
"Tubig na rin, 'yon lang" sabi nya at ngumiti
"I'll be back after 3 minutes" sabi ni Bryan saka umalis
"Are you always here?"
Tumango sya "This place has a lot to offer. They make great tea. Try their chamomile tea next time and ohh desserts here are the best" sabi nya
"Desserts?"
"Yep. Cakes, caramel candies, muffins and many more candies" nakangiting sabi nya
"You like candies?"
Tumango sya "Masarap eh" sabi nya at kumuha ng isa sa bulsa nya "Gusto mo?"
Kinuha iyon ni Leif ang candy na hawak nya "Really this is a sour candy?"
Ngumisi sya "It helps with concentration sometimes. Eat sweet candy if you're sad or frustrated" sabi nya at ngumiti
"If I'm confused? What should I eat?"
"That sour candy. It helps with concentration, kasasabi ko lang" sabi nya
Napatango si Leif at nilagay sa bulsa nito ang candy. Napangiti sya at kinuha ang matamis na candy sa kabilang bulsa nya "Here, if you're frustrated"
"Thanks, I guess"
Dumating ang order nila pagkaraan ng ilang minuto. Napangiti sya ng makita ang breakfast meal na inorder nya
"That's a lot for one person.."
"Alam ko. Bakit? Sapat ba 'yang pancake para sayo?"
Tinignan ni Leif ang nakahain sa harapan nya "Apparently...no"
"Share tayo" sabi nya at nagdasal muna bago kumain
"So, what do you do for a living?"
Napatingin si Leif sa kanya "I'm an heir. Still studying to be the next CEO of my Dad's Empire"
"Studying?"
"Fourth year College"
Napatango sya "I can teach you if you want"
"You do?"
Tumango sya "I nailed my Chemistry, Biophysics and Calculus when I was in College"
"Can you tutor me?"
"Sure, why not? But only on Saturdays and Sundays"
"Why?" takang tanong nito
"I'm still an intern, you know? Still studying to become a real doctor with degree and all" sabi nya
"You're that serious?"
