NAKANGITING YUMAKAP SI Leif kay Candy at hinalikan ang tuktok ng ulo ng asawa "How's your day?"

"Tired" sabi ni Candy at bumuntong hininga "We're busy all day. So many patients. Simula bukas, on call na ako"

"That's okay. I can come to the hospital, love" sabi ni Leif

"Hindi naman kasi on the way yung ospital namin sa opisina mo, hassle 'yon" sabi ni Candy at pinaupo si Leif sa couch saka sya umupo sa hita nito paharap "Baka mapagod ka"

"I'm totally fine with it, love. Trust me. I made dinner. Let's eat?"

Nakangiting hinalikan ni Candy sa labi si Leif "Thanks, love"

Yumakap si Candy sa leeg ni Leif at tinignan ito. Napailing nalang si Leif at binuhat sya saka nagtungo sa kusina. Pagkatapos kumain ay sabay silang naligo

Narinig ni Candy ang pagtunog ng kanyang cellphone kaya mabilis nyang tinapos ang pagbibihis. Binuksan nya ang message ni Xyrus at natigilan ng makita ang laman nun

'Devon was being accused of treason by the higher ups'

The plan is working then

Tinawagan nya ang Reyna at napangisi ng mabilis itong sumagot "Your Majesty, I just received the Crowned Prince's message"

(Good. If this continues, Devon will hunt you)

"I won't let her catch me"

(Any update about the last bomb's location?)

"We found it, Your Highness. My men took care of it and we're going to make sure to steal every information Devon has to reveal your identity"

(That's good. I need you to come to Spain)

Napatingin sya sa cellphone ng mamatay ang tawag. I may know her personally but she still remains a mystery. It's so hard to read her

"Love, are you talking to someone earlier?"

Tumango sya "I got a call from my boss" sabi nya at niyakap ang dalawang braso palibot sa leeg ni Leif ng makalapit ito

"From Justine?"

"From my other boss" sabi nya at tinignan si Leif "Does my job bother you?"

Napatitig si Leif sa kanya "Why'd you ask?"

"We'll, my job is complicated, risky and I don't have much time for you" sabi nya at napasimangot

"It's fine, love. I understand, it's your job..."

"But...I hate the fact that you're hunting people to kill. It's dangerous. You might get wounded or worst..." napailing si Leif "I can't lose you, Candy"

"I want to quit this job too but there's a lot of people out there need to be safe. I kill men and play with them in my dungeon to save other people's lives. I don't mind getting hurt before...but now, I have priorities"
