8-Heartbeat ~ Steddie

Nighttime - Hospital

Eddie was in a deep sleep in the hospital bed.

Same with Steve.

Eddies Dream: Steve and him making out at a theme park.

While Eddie's face was happy with glee. Steve didn't have much fun in his dream. 

It was more like an endless nightmare.

"NO, EDDIE!!" Steve's voice echoed as seeing Eddie risking his life in The Upside Down

"Eddie don't leave me."

"Please, stay with me." 

Everything that Steve said to Eddie was in his mind, but all of it was when Eddie was in trouble. Steve started tearing up and moving a lot in his sleep.

Eddie awoke due to Steve's moving.

Eddie was worried so he tried to wake him up. Nothing was working. 

Steve was in a deep sleep of just memories of sadness. 

So, Eddie decided to try to move the railing of the bed down. It was difficult considering he was in so much pain every time he moved.

"No, no." Steve quietly said in his sleep while crying.

Eddie managed to move Steve near him and hug him.

Steve heard his heartbeat. That is what woke him up.

Steve looked at Eddie making sure he was okay.

"Munson... "No, you need a hug. You always look after me. I want to look after you too, Harrington." Eddie said while interrupting Steve.

They both were red in the face but, happy to be each other's comfort person.

They both fell back asleep and Steve didn't have any more nightmares. He just put his arms around Eddie with a big smile.

Eddies heart was beating so fast it felt like it was about to burst.

They both didn't want to admit it but, they loved each other.

This is kind of a filler chapter :) 

And I was tearing up a bit while making this.
