20-Lost ~ Steddie

Everything is black. Just a dark space, till he sees some light. His eyes flutter open slowly, trying to see his surroundings. He saw Steve tied up and knocked out...then heard someone working something.

"Finally, awake I see?" Blake turns around menacingly, but it wasn't the Blake Eddie remembered. This Blake only had one eye and barely any teeth. It was weird to see him like that.

He's still tall with a wall of stupid leatherman jackets, awards, and pictures of his exes. This guy didn't change for the better he changed for the worse.

"Steve." Eddie tried to speak but it was raspy. "Oh, he'll be okay....for now. But, you...haha...you I hate more than your little boyfriend."

Every time the word 'boyfriend' was released from Blakes stupid mouth it made Eddies' heart flip.

Blake was so close to Eddie, it was disgusting Eddie. Eddie tried to release himself from the rope he tied him with. Yet, it wasn't budging.

"If you touch one hair on Steves' head I will kill you so fast you won't even see it coming." Eddie threatened. Blake took a step back toward Steve and started touching Steves' hair...Eddie was not having it.

Eddie was trying to release himself from this prison. He loves Steve so much he would die, kill, and betray him.

Eddies' anger took a hold of him...he was so blinded that he would do anything without thinking.

"Oh, you having fun there? Yeah, 'cause you're never getting out of those." Blake responded with a sinister smile, he released his hand from Steves' hair and went back to work on something.

"Why do you care so much about us? We were kids...stupid kids. Now you are getting back at us for something that happened so long ago!! Wow, you are so pathetic." Eddie argued.

Blake blocked him out cause he didn't want to hear it and frankly doesn't give a shit if it was a million years. He's psychotic...so there is no fixing him.

Eddie became quiet. He remembered he had a pocket knife on him at all times.

He discreetly cut the rope and charged at Blake. Blake then turned around and blocked the dagger from going into his face.

Eddie was struggling.

Steves' eyes started fluttering open...unable to speak. He saw Eddie holding a knife.

Steve closed his eyes again...but this time...to try to get into Eddies' mind.

Since Blake was in Steves' mind...some power residue was in him.

"Eddie. Listen to me. Okay."

Steves' voice rang in Eddies' head. Eddie looked at Steve he wasn't talking.

Eddie was in mid-fight with Blake. Trying to kill him.

"Eddie. Run. Now!"

Eddie didn't have time to question how Steve was doing that. He thought it was a mind trick, then Steve opened his eyes with a sincere stare.

"I can't leave you." Eddie echoed back in his mind.

"If you don't then who is gonna watch after the kids. Eddie. I promise. I won't die."

Which is a pretty big promise to keep.

Eddie managed to cut Blake badly on the shoulder and he ran.

Tears were rolling down Eddies' face, but he trusts Steve.

Eddie was looking for an exit but, they were all locked and sealed shut. So, he took the risk and jumped out of a two-story window.

Somehow Eddie was okay, but it was gonna leave a bruise.

He was panicking on finding out where he was...then realized. They never left Hawkins.

Blake was trying to put pressure on the wound and stared at Steve.

"What did you do?" Blake said roughly.

Steve smiled.

Then, opened his eyes.

They were white.

Blake was confused...cause he wasn't doing that.

Steve started floating while the rope was untangling on its' own.

"Sometimes lost things can be found."

Rang in Blakes' ears. It kept ringing in his ears.

Steve was finally in control, but doing so...Steve knew there was gonna be a downside to this plan.

Steve was gonna lose every emotion, every feeling....for everyone.

His memories flickered of the times with Eddie and Dustin...especially Dustin and Robin.

He is gonna miss them.

He was still in the air and a single tear rolled down his eye.

"I love you guys."

It ringed in everyones' ears, that he cared for.

Steve slowly came down to the ground and went toward Blake who was on both of his knees in agony.

Steve lifted his face and announced with a psychotic smile, "You're my prisoner now."
