Family Video Store - Afternoon

"Before you ask. "How?" Well, it's just the little things. Like the way you guys look at each other, the gentle touches, the non-stop smiling, the blushing..geez it's like you guys weren't even trying to hide it." Robin confessed while Steve had this blank look.

"Well...ahem...makes sense." Steve said while clearing his throat, "Yeah." Robin muttered.

"Uh, yeah. But, just because of all of that. That doesn't mean he likes me. I don't even know if he's gay...I don't even know if I'm gay..I'm just so confused." Steve confessed while genturing. 

"Wow, you are the most stupidest person I've known. Of course he likes you...and have you not seen the hankerchief in his back pocket? It's a code for being gay." Robin informed.

"Huh, I had no idea..." Steve said while looking down.

"Yeah, but you can't tell him I told you that cause sometimes I'm not always right...ouch that burns to say that." Robin gentured to her heart. 

Steve nodded and then heard the door ring.

"Hey, guys. Do you guys want to come to the Arcade when you're done working?" Henderson offered with a smile. 

Max and Lucas were their as well.

"Uh, I don't know...who else will be their?" Steve asked politely.

"It's gonna be us, Eleven, Mike, Will, oh and Eddie should be coming as well." Dustin confessed while counting his fingers to make sure.

"Uh..." "Yeah, we will definitely be there." Robin confessed while nudging Steve with a smile.

"Alright, see you then." Dustin replied while leaving with Max and Lucas.

"Alright." Steve said while waving and fake smiling he then shot Robin a look.

"What? This is a great opportunity for you and Eddie to bond more. You guys need to have a nice time after all you guys been through." Robin confessed honestly.

Steve just smiled and went back to work.

Arcade - 5:00 PM

They've been in arcade for about an hour now and they are having fun...but of course Steve's mind is somewhere else.

"Hey, Harrington. You okay?" Eddie asked while waving his hand in front of Steve's face.

"Uh, yeah...sorry Munson...just thinking some things." He confessed while snapping out of it and looking down.

"Hey, man. You can tell me anything, what's up." Eddie asked with concern.

"It's nothing...I guess I always think...what if I'm not doing enough?" Steve confessed while locking eyes with Eddie.

"Dude, you're doing the best you can. Give yourself some credit." Eddie helped while not leaving Steve eyes and with his hand on Steve's shoulder.

"Hey, what's up with them?" Max asked confusedly, "They are just friends, no need to worry about anything." Robin nervously responded like she knew something.

They all were confused and kept asking questions, Robin just kept ignoring them.

Steve and Eddie went back to playing games.

After some time they all left and went to spend the night at Robins house.

They put on Beetlejuice and Lucas was the only one creeped out by it.

Eddie just smiled because he loved this movie.

Steve just admired the way he looked. He was the most beautiful guy he's ever seen and met.

When Eddie looked over to Steve, Steve broke eye contact and looked at the TV.

Eddie quietly held Steves hand. Their hearts were beating so fast it felt like they were gonna explode.

After some time they all went to bed but, Steve and Eddie couldn't. They both went to the kitchen to get a drink and just talked about music and how Steve met the kids.

It was a nice night, Steve was smiling. He was happy. He hasn't felt or looked this happy in a long time.

Steve and Eddie were really close, and Steve looked down while playing with Eddies rings. 

Eddie didn't mind but, the blushing was really bad...for both of them.

Then, Steve and Eddie couldn't stop staring at each other. 

Then, Steve cupped his right hand over Eddies face. Eddie then whispered: "Are you sure?" "Yes, I have never been more sure." Steve confessed while they crashed lips and Eddie was holding onto Steves waist.

The kiss lasted at least 3 minutes.

"Wait, when did Steve Harrington like me?" Eddie asked completely lost with his usual grin, "Uh, I guess ever since we were in the woods and uh...when you got cursed by Vecna...and just trying to be a hero...I just couldn't stand the fact to lose you." Steve confessed while his hand still cupped onto Eddies face.

"Awe, you know you're such a dork." Eddie said playfully.

"You're the one talking, you play kids game." Steve echoed back while letting his hands free.

"Hey, D&D is not a kids game..." Eddie kept blabbing about the game while Steve was rolling his eyes and walking away.

The rest of the night they were talking about stuff and then Steve fell asleep on Eddie's chest while Eddies arm was wrapped around him. 

But, something ran through both their minds.

"What if he pretends like nothing happened?"
