28-Roadtrip ~ Steddie

It's still Saturday morning and Eddie woke up without Steve by his side. It put him in a small panic, he arose from his bed and hurried to the bathroom to see Steve messing with his hair, wearing black sweatpants, and one of Eddies' band shirts.

Eddie started blushing a lot and just admired him. "Oh, hey Munson." Steve smiled and gave Eddie a sweet little kiss on the lips. "Oh, uh...hey.." Eddie stuttered which made Steve chuckle a little knowing he is making Eddie nervous.

Eddie sat down next to Steve on the couch and Steve put his arm around Eddie. Steve finally broke the 5 seconds of silence. "Hey, Munson...what do you want to do today?" He smirked at him, Eddie was flustered but he made Steve fluster back by saying, "Whatever, you want Stevie." in a flirty way.

Steve cleared his throat and stood up to cover up the fact his face is bright red. Eddie just stared at him patiently waiting for an answer.

"Um...you know what we all need. A roadtrip. Me, you, Robin, and the little shitheads should go on one. You know to get away from Hawkins for a little while." Steve responded, "That would be a good idea if the little shitheads didn't have school." Eddie replied in a sassy manner.

"Well...aren't they having a break soon or whatever? They deserve to have an actual break...they never do." Eddie stood up and looked into Steves' gaze. Eddie knew Steve was suggesting this idea so he could clear his head.

"Yeah, sure. This will be fun." Eddie smiled and held onto Steves' face. He gently laid a precious kiss. Then, he laid his forehead onto Steves' and whispered, "Let's go eat something, I'm hungry."

Which made Steve smile. They both went to the fridge to look for something and after an hour of Steve trying to get the stove to work, the eggs were done. They ate and watched TV after. Both of them just loving this perfect moment.

But, the same thought runs back to Steves' head.

You know this won't last forever.
