It was Pete's first time attending a family meeting. He had recently been promoted as Tankhun's head bodyguard. Tankhun tapped Pete's elbow and winked, "Now is my turn to protect you from my notorious cousins ;)" Pete responded with a tight smile. A young man in a blue silk dress shirt sat on the opposite side of the table. Pete looked at that man with his lowered gaze.

Pete was in the process of transitioning into his new role. Big was familiarising him with Tankhun's room and habits. Big showed him a photo album among various other things to educate him about Tankhun's condition, triggers and their solutions.
"Could I please ask a question that is slightly off topic?" Pete inquired, pointing at a picture.
Big was puzzled. Nevertheless he obliged.
"Who are these 5 kids in uniforms?"
"The current Theerpanyakul heirs. The shortest is Mr Macau, the one with short hair is probably Mr Kinn. Mr Tankhun is wearing rings & Mr Kim has the class monitor badge on."
"So that leaves..."
"Mr Vegas. Why do you ask?"
"Uh nothing you told Mr Tankhun dislikes Mr Vegas"
"You shall see him in a couple of days at the meeting, be ready"
Pete swallowed and continued.
Korn introduced Tankhun's new body guard to Kan, Macau and Vegas. Pete could not bring himself to verbally greet them while bowing. He did not understand why he felt an urge to cry.
