3rd Person

On the next day.

After Peter, his aunt and uncle spend their morning together at the breakfast table, Ben drives Peter to school today.

When the two are in the car, Ben stops at a corner 500 meters away from Kuoh Academy.

Peter: Thanks for driving me uncle Ben.

Just as Peter wants to get out, his uncle grabs his shoulder.

Ben: No wait Peter. We need to talk.

Peter: We can still do that after school.

Ben: We can do it now too. If you let me.

With a sigh, Peter closes the car door again but asks.

Peter: What do we have to talk about, why now?

Ben: Because I want to talk to you about yesterday again... without aunt May.

Peter: Sigh. I thought we sorted that out about yesterday?

Ben: No, not quite yet. I want to know what's the matter with you. Yesterday at F.E.A.S.T. you suddenly panicked and just ran away. Last night at dinner you were lost in thought and barely spoke and then you went right back to your room. And this morning at breakfast you covered your wrists and kept rubbing them. What's happening? Were you involved in a fight?

Peter: No. Of course not uncle Ben.

Ben: then what's the matter with you?

Peter: Nothing I... just change a bit. I have been thinking a lot in the last few weeks about who I am and who I want to be. That's all.

Ben looks at his nephew and is silent for a moment.

Ben: ... I know it's a though time for someone your age right now. You change, your body changes, I know that. I went through the exact same Thing when I Was your age.

Peter: No, no not exactly the same Thing. 

Ben: Peter listen... you're at that age now where a man decides what Kind of Man he will be for the Rest of his life. Be careful who you turn into. You're a good boy and I want you to stay the way you are. Above all, don't forget that May and I are always here for you.

Peter looks at his uncle and asks him.

Peter: Are you... scared that I will turn into some criminal? Stop worrying. Yes you are right I'm changing but that doesn't mean I'm becoming someone dangerous. So please don't lecture me.

Ben: I don't want to lecture or preach. But I'm worried about your Future Peter. I know that someday you will become someone really big. Maybe a politican or a scientist, definitely someone with a lot of influence. I want you to not let anything get to your head and always clearly follow your moral compass.

Ben looks Peter straight in the eyes and tells him.

Ben: Never forget Peter, with great Power comes great responsibility.

Peter: Ok uncle Ben... can I gp to school now?

Ben: Yeah, but don't forget what we agreed on about the killer walking loose. When school is over you wait in the library until me and May Pick you up with the car. No spontaneous excursions, understood?

Peter: Yes uncle Ben.

Peter gets out of the car and walks to school.

Timeskip lunch:

The school day was the same as always. The lessons start and Peter is the only one who really understands what is said and participates.

Now it's lunch in the school canteen. Lunch is always uncomfortable for Peter. The social status of each Student is clearly visible at the tables in the canteen. The popular students always sit with many friends at the large tables in the middle. Popular students like Kiba who is the only boy sitting at a table with only girls. Then come those who have their Personal circle of friends and spend their free time together. Then come the weird groups of friends like the perverted trio. Some are also in the schoolyard and have their own place where they eat. Like the school mascot Koneko who always eats under a tree in front of the old school building. And lastly, the friendless losers, of whom there are a few in Kuoh Academy. But Peter is one of them.
