Chapter 27

3rd Person

It's a beautiful day in Kuoh. The Sun is shining and not a single cloud can be seen in the sky.

Families spend their day off in the park and many people walk carefree through the streets.

Until a shadow suddenly appears above them and they look up into the sky. When they look up, they see... a car? After a brief moment of confusion, the people suddenly all run away to avoid being hit by the car, that slams on the ground.

When the confused people hear what sounds like an explosion, they look into the next street and see the reason why the car came flying towards them. In the next street, a fight between a man in metal armor and the friendly Spider takes place.

Spiderman: Shocker, it's been a while.

Spiderman is talking while his opponent, Shocker, is attacking him. Shocker tries to punch him several times but Spiderman dodges and blocks each of his punches.

When Shocker does pay attention for a moment Peter kicks him in the back of his right knee, causing him to fall to one knee.

Spiderman: Were you on vacation? Did you do something expensive that makes you rob a Bank now?

Peter asked him, telling the reason why the two are fighting. After a long time, Shocker has shown up again and was trying to rob a bank. However, Peter intervented and tried to stop him. As a result, the two have gotten into this fight now.

Shocker clenches his fist's, he's annoyed with Spiderman.

Shocker: Do you ever stop talking?

He yells while activating his left gauntlet and punching Spiderman in the chest. Peter fails to block the punch in time and is thrown down the street by the shockwave.

He quickly shoots several webs at the houses on either side of the street to hold on to them. His web ropes slow Peter down. When he stops flying backwards, Peter lands with his feets on the street but still holds the ropes tightly in his hands. He leans back, his ropes at full tension. As he moves his feet off the road, Peter is slingshotted back at Shocker. He is too fast for Shocker and kicks him right against his helmet.

The kick sends Shocker flying backwards and crashing into a car. When he slowly gets up again he sees Spiderman running towards him.

Shocker actually wants to flee, he's thinking about what how to get out of this situation. In the corner of his eyes he sees several people trying to flee down the street. He gets an idea how to distract Spiderman and escape.

Shocker runs behind the car he crashed into. He activates his gauntlet and hits the car. The shockwave throws the car through the air at the innocent people. He does the same with two other cars.

When Peter sees where the cars are flying to, he swings after them. He quickly shoots several webs between the houses on both sides, forming a large web with which he catches two of the three cars. The third flies past the large web and threatens to crush a child who, out of shock, does not move. Before the car crushes the boy, Peter swings to him and grabs him.

The last car ends up crashing on the street. The impact ignites the petrol in the tank and the car explodes. Luckily no one was injured by the explosion.

Peter swings to the ground with the boy in one arm. The boy is scared and hugs him tightly. He is probably no older than eight, he must be very scared right now.

???: Ren! Ren!

As the boy hears his name being said, he looks around. Although many people are running around in panic, the boy clearly sees the woman who is running towards him and Spiderman.
