Anya was at the front of the art room sitting on a wooden stool as she looked at the club members in front of her. Today was Monday, the first official meeting of the year. She had gathered up exactly ten members here in total, seven guys and three girls not including her. She blinked a few times her eyes skimming over the top of their heads as she seemed to recognize a few of them.

Most of them came from extremely wealthy backgrounds, some were children of businessmen, others of politicians and throughout the room, there was only one other person who seemed to come from a relatively similar background to her. Even then, being a daughter or son of a medical professional seemed flamboyant in average settings.

Her eyes landed on Damian.

He was staring at her with his hazel brown eyes as he awaited her words just as all the others did. She forced herself to look away from him before she could feel her cheeks heat up.

She spoke softly, "I'm sure you all know...that this club is not only for fun and games-"

She slowed down the pace of her talking in an effort to not stumble on her words, " We're trying to create quality art. For our first assignment," she brought out a blank canvas and revealed her artwork beneath the cloth.

"Paint something you like."

She saw widened eyes as she revealed her artwork to the students in front of her. Anya was rather simple, she had a long list of things she liked. She liked peanuts, her mom and dad, she liked her best friend, she liked a select few classmates...but most of all she liked peace and in her true simplistic fashion she kept things easy for herself.

In her mind peace was fields of lavender, stray pieces of grass flurrying in the wind and a setting sun that painted the sky an array of orange and pink. It was being outside away from books and studies, it was wasting away time by herself--and so that's exactly what she drew.

She smiled adorably as she looked over at them, her eyes closed, her pink hair swaying to one side, "Your turn," she spoke.

By the time she opened her eyes, they were all staring at her with pink tints along their cheeks.

Why were they blushing?

Had she done something wrong?

It didn't take long for the room to begin to get busy, before she knew it the room was filled with light chatter and blank canvases dressed with paint, each one filled with different images. It was actually quite nice to see from her perspective and she walked around slowly looking at the images that were blooming in front of her very eyes, if only the supervising professor was here today, he would've been mesmerized.
