Graduation was coming closer with every passing day. The days of being in Eden Academy were quickly coming to an end for most of the seniors who had attended since they were children.

Soon, they would be adults--the things they experienced with their friends would be a thing of the past. Everyone would go their separate ways and life would move on.

This last month was exceedingly precious and so when Becky said she wanted to have another get-together no one wanted to miss it.

Unlike usual, this get-together was not an exceedingly huge party. It didn't require excessive waiters, decorations or over-the-top shenanigans.

This type of get-together was more simple.

The Blackbell had decided she wanted to have a giant picnic. In order to do this, she had bought out a large portion of a park for this special occasion.

She had invited everyone. Everyone.

That included her best friend who had helped her plan the occasion perfectly. However,
when Anya told Becky she was planning to come late after all her hard work Becky required a reason. And the reason made Becky exceedingly happy.

Anya and Damian had decided it was time to make an official debut.

Becky was determined to take as many pictures as possible.

On the day of the occasion, seniors were scurrying around everywhere. The park was filled with voices and chatter, a bunch of white tables were placed throughout the area.

Anya wore a flowy dress under the bright warm sun. It flurried beautifully in the wind as her eyes gazed up at the sky above her.

She sighed softly at the white clouds that drifted across the sky and Damian who stood beside her did the same.

Her arm was promptly linked with the Desmond's, a physically showing of their relationship and as the two walked closer towards the commotion Damian decided this wasn't good enough.

He wanted to make it known that he and Anya were not simply friends, and the gesture of linking arms didn't serve his purpose.

Damian unlinked and took Anya's hand, holding it before intertwining their fingers.

Anya blushed a bit.

He was utterly too much and she loved it.

When the Desmond appeared with the Forger, when eyes finally got an opportunity to look at the couple all hell broke loose.

The get-together itself grew quiet, and then loud, and then quiet.

When Becky saw the two holding hands she pulled out her phone. Anya saw this and glared at her.

Becky managed to take one picture before being scared off.

She watched as the Forger approached her along with the Desmond and she spoke.

"Hello," she said giving a small nod.

"I see you succeeded," Becky said as she looked at Damian.

He gave a nod.

Anya had no idea what they were talking about.

Becky switched her gaze from Damian to Anya. She examined just how stunning her friend looked and she couldn't help but smile.

She spoke, "I'm stealing you for a minute."

Damian watched as Anya was promptly dragged away and he smiled at the two before finding his own friends to talk to.

They reunited later in the afternoon at a table. It consisted of Erwin and Emilie, Becky and a couple of her friends.

There was a light conversation going on between everyone and Anya was actually enjoying her time when she received a text message.

It was from her father. Loid had texted her a simple message.

Check your email.

She blinked a few times. This was unusual. Since when had her dad ever told her to do something like that?

Anya shrugged it off anyway-she opened her email just as he had suggested and only mere seconds passed before she found herself gasping.

"Damian," she said, squeezing his hand from under the table.

Damian who had been listening to the table chatter turned his head towards her.

"Yes?" he asked.

Anya whispered something in his ear and Damian's eyes widened.

"Really?"

Anya nodded.

"Just now?"

She nodded.

"Can I see?"

Anya passed him her phone and Damian looked down at it with a smile. He made eye contact with Anya.

"I told you it would all work out, didn't I?"

She smiled gleefully.

Anya had been accepted into the university she had wanted.

In a matter of seconds she felt all the piled up inside her melt away. A sense of relief hit her as she acknowledged that she had made it. Unlike many of her peers, her road hadn't been smooth sailing but she still managed to make it to the finish line.

Damian watched her relaxed expression and decided he should give her a gift to commemorate her acceptance. He began thinking about what exactly that present should be.

Anya blushed. It was moments like this that she wished she couldn't hear thoughts. She would much prefer if it was a surprise. Even still, she appreciated the fact she had such a generous boyfriend.

Anya took a moment or two to calm down before taking the opportunity to share the good news with the rest of her friends.
