Abir- maa, kissey chune woh?? Farz Ya Mohabbat??
Ishwari didn't have answer but after few minutes she spoke.
I- ussey sahi ko chun-na hoga. Duniya bahut kuch kehti hai lekin humein duniya ke hisaab se nahi, apne hisaab se chalna chahiye. Agar ussey lagta hai ke usska pyar sahi hai toh woh pyar ko chune aur agar ussey lagta hai ke usska farz sahi hai toh farz ko chune aur agar dono hi apni jagha sahi hain toh koi beech ka rasta chune. Duniya ko bhool ke apne dil ki sune, ke usska dil kya kehta hai. Kayi baar kuch log sahi kaam bhi galat tareeke se karte hain. Shayad uss ladki ne bhi aisa hi kiya ho. Keh de apne dost se, jo farz nyaay ka rasta roke woh sahi nahi ho sakta. Jeet nyay ki honi chahiye.
Abir understood ishwari's words. He gave her a smile and leaves.
Next Morning, it was Sunday. Abir was sitting in the garden. He was still confused on what to choose. Karan came to him. He showed Abir both his hands making a fist.
Karan- Abir, dono mein se koi ek chun.
Abir- please Karan. Mujhe yeh bachchon wali games nahi khelni.
Karan- o hello. Tu mujhse bada nahi ho gaya. Chal choose kar.
Abir got to know that Karan won't back off so he chose 1. He touched his one hand and asked him to open that. Karan opened both his hands and what Abir saw made him surprised. Karan was having 2 cigarettes. (Don't get them wrong. Its not real. Both the brothers are miles away from any kind of drugs, weather it is alcohol or cigarette.)
Karan- humare bachpan ki candy wali cigarettes. (Gives one to Abir) kaise acting karte hote the na isske saath. Aur yaad hai ek baar sandhya chachi ne humein aise dekh liya tha. Kaise bhagi bhagi gayi thi na maa ke paas.
Karan and Abir (together, mimicking sandhya chachi)- ishwari jiji!!! Ishwari jiji!!!! Anarth ho gaya!!! Ladke haath se nikal gaye!!!!
Both Karan and Abir laugh. Karan was happy seeing Abir laughing after such a long time.
Karan- aur yaad hai jab tere fourth standard mein tera kuch ladkon se jhagda ho gaya tha. Teri dhulaai hone hi wali thi.
Abir- haan lekin end time pe tuney aa ke bacha liya tha. Kaise bhool sakta hoon.
Karan- aur uss time maine tujhse ek baat kahi thi. Yaad hai??
Abir- bilkul yaad hai. Sar pe haath pher ke kaha tha ke "Abir life mein kabhi khud ko akela matt samajhna. Tera bhai hamesha tere saath hoga. Koi bhi pareshani ho ya problem ho, tu be-jhijak aa ke mujhse keh sakta hai. I'll always be with you."
Karan- yaad hai toh batata kyun nahi hai ke kya problem hai?? (Abir's smile disappeared.) Please Abir. You know na you can share anything with me, right. Toh bata na kya hua??
Abir (with a straight face)- jo hona tha, woh toh saalon pehle hi ho gaya. Ab toh usske baare mein pata chala hai.
Karan (confused)- matlab?? Kya pata chala hai??
Abir- past. (Karan was confused) Kirti ka.
Karan's eyes widend hearing Kirti's name.
Karan- kya!! Kya hua tha tab??
Abir- Mishti Maheshwari Kirti ki chhoti behen Mishti hai. (Karan was shocked) yeh baat mai tab se jaanta hoon, jabse mai Rajveer se mila hoon. Yeh baat ussi ne mujhe bataai thi.
Karan- Mishti yeh baat jaanti hai??
Abir- bahut acche se.
Karan- toh ussne yeh kissi ko bataya kyun nahi?? Kirti ko kyun nahi bataya??
Abir- kyunke Kirti khush thi tere saath. Agar woh ussey batati ke woh usski behen hai toh ussey unke alag hone ki wajha batani padti. Ussey batana padta ke unki family ke saath kya hua tha, jo woh nahi chahti thi.
Karan- i understand. Mushkil toh hoga hi. Bechari kaise bataati ke unke baba pe atankwaadi hone ka jhutha ilzaam laga tha aur police ne encounter kar diya.
Abir gave a sad chuckle.
Abir- encounter nahi, murder. Char char murder.
Karan- what!!
Abir- 12 January, Rajshree aunty ke birthday wale din unke ghar ghus ke maara gaya tha unhe. Yeh sab baatein sun ke meri rooh kaamp gayi thi. Pata nahi unn dono behnon ka kya haal hua hoga jinhone woh sab apni aankhon se dekha. 10 saal ki thi Mishti aur 13 saal ki thi Kirti. Unke bhai ko goli maar ki gayi kyunke ussne apni maa ko bachaane ki koshish ki thi. Seeney mein goli lagi thi. On the spot death. Self defence ke chakkar mein unki dadi ke sar mein goli lagi. On the spot death.
Karan was super shocked. He was all in tears. Even Abir was in same state. Even telling and listening all this was haunting both the Rajvansh brothers and then what would have Maheshwari sisters gone through.
Abir- yeh sab unn dono ne apni aankhon se dekha tha. Unke saamne, unke baba ke saamne unki maa ka ra... unki maa ka rape kiya gaya tha.
Karan's eyes widend even more.
Abir- hum inspector Rawat aur inspector Prashant ke already kate huye tukde nahi dekh paa rahe the, halaan ke woh humare apne bhi nahi the lekin Mishti aur Kirti, unn dono ne toh apne maa baba ko apni aankhon ke saamne marte huye dekha tha. Unki maa ka rape karne ke baad unke tukde tukde kar diye the unn logon ne
Karan shuts his eyes in horror.
Abir- wahi unke baba ke saath kiya gaya tha. Apni aankhon ke saamne, apne maa baba ko tadapte huye dekha tha, karrate huye dekha tha. Uss raat, berehemi ne apni saari hadein paar kar di thi. Apni jaan bachaane ke liye, dono behnein kissi tarha ghar se bhagi thi. Mishti phisal ke apne hi parivaar ke khoon mein giri thi. Kissi tarha woh railway station pahunch gaye lekin luck unke saath nahi tha. Train pahaadi par thi, dono behnein darwaze ke paas thi aur unke dono taraf unnke parivar ke qatilon ke gunde. Mishti ko bachaane ke liye Kirti ne ussey chalti train se dhakka de diya lekin jab woh khud koodne wali thi toh unn gundon ne ussey peeche kheech liya. Aur yahaan yeh dono bhi alag ho gayi.
Karan holds his head crying.
Karan- aur Kirti ko aaj bhi lagta hai ke ussne Mishti ki jaan le li. Kaun the woh log??
Abir- Inspector Jagat Rawat, Inspector Prashant aur A.C.P. Dig Vijay.
Karan (more than super shocked)- kya!! Oh my God!!!
Abir- kaal pari koi aur nahi, khud Mishti hai. Dr. Mishti Maheshwari. Kirti ki chhoti behen.
Karan didn't know what to speak. He was getting one after the other shocks. Mishti was Kirti's younger sister, Kirti's family was murdered ruthlessly, the murderers were the 3 officers whom kaal pari wanted to kill and he gave them Z-security, Mishti herself was kaal pari, who ruthlessly murdered 2 officers. He didn't know how many more shocks he'll get.
Abir- Mishti apni family ki maut ka badla lena chahti thi. Ussne unn dono officers ko ussi tarha maara jaise unhone usske maa baba ko mara tha. Yaad kar kaal pari ki har ek dhamki.
Karan reminisces everything.
"Har woh insaan kutte ki maut marega jiski power ne seedhe saadhe logon ko atankwaadi ban-ne pe majboor kiya."
"JAISI KARNI WAISI BHARNI."
"Dekh le apni maut ka manzar aur jee le apni zindagi ke aakhri kuch din."
"Agla pichhla janam kisne dekha hai sir?? Insaan apne karmon ke phal issi janam mein bhog leta hai. Ho sakta hai aapne bhi kissi ke bachche anaath kiye hon, jo aaj aapke bachche anaath ho rahe hain."
"Ghar jaane ki jaldi ussey hoti hai jiska koi intzaar kar raha ho."
"Kirti leave him, mar jayega woh. Woh ACP nahi hai!!"
His chain of thoughts broke when he heard a clashing sound. He turned around and got the biggest shock of his life. There were glass pieces of the flower vase scattered on the floor and near them, stood Kirti in a completely devastated state, crying bitterly holding her mouth.
Her head started spinning and Karan noticed it. Karan shouting her name was the last thing she was able to hear before everything blacked out.
