5. School reunion

Sam's Pov.

/Math class/

"Sam, girl I'm so happy for you!" Taylor pulls me to the other side of the room and hugs me. "Now that jerk has to leave you alone." She adds whispering.

"Taylor! Don't even mention that f*-ing asshole!" I say to her in my alfa tone.
"Sorry."

"I have a question." Alice states after giving me a hug as well, and I nod indicating her to continue.

"I was wondering but didn't you say you were more into girls and it was Amber who was all out for the guys?" She asks and Taylor is already bobbing in agreement. Knowing that this conversation was coming I was already prepared and as I was going to start to explain, Greg loudly interrupts us.

"Wait, you're a girl!" Everyone looks at Asher who looks annoyed but is nodding.

Taylor and Alice looks at her baffled than at me and this goes on for a while, until Taylor starts to giggle.

"Everything is clear now!" They look at each other.
"Also explains your kink with male upper bodies." They agree, and I just hate that I told them my weird obsession.

"Shut it you two!" I groan.

/In front of the school/

After I talked to my mom I ran to Asher who was leaning on to her motorcycle.

"Ready?" Asher asks.
"Yes! I can't wait for you to get to know them."
"Put this on." She hands me her helmet. "Really?"
"Indeed! I'm not gonna risk it even if it's silly." Starting the engine she tells me. Putting on the helmet, I slide my hand around my mate, ready to go, but she turns to face me.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot. About meeting your parents, it may not be like how you imagined, but it will surely be interesting." She says mysteriously before pulling out to the road.

/Rose Pack house/

Asher's comment being all vague I don't know what to expect. Thinking, I didn't respond when she calls for me, parking before the pack house.

"Sam! We're here!" Amber warns in my head.
'How does she know where the pack house is?' I wonder.
"Well our mother is the principal so maybe she met her when she was accepted to school? Don't worry too much girl." Amber responds to my thoughts.
'I'm just goona ask her.' I decide. "K."

"Asher, what did you ment by this will not go as how I imagined it?" I grab her hand and turn her to face me. "And how did you know where I live?"

"Umm... so don't feel weird about this but it's like... well, I already know your parents." She fidgets with her shoes.
"You'll see so just come on." She takes my hand and brings me to my door. She knocks and we hear my dad shouting.

"Coming, one sec!"

My dad is home most of the time, being the Alfa, and mom is the school principal, looking out for the pups as she puts it, but in fact she doesn't really go anywhere, always staying with my father.

The door opening brings me back to reality but what happens next left me speechless.

"Holy shit!! Asher my man!!! You're here!!!" my dad hugs Asher in a bear hug, brimming with joy. I'm sruck in my place seeing my dad so happy that my mate is here. Wait he doesn't know she's my mate??!!!

"John I'm not your man as I'm still a woman. But yeah... nice seeing you again." she smiles.

"Ha!! Woman or not you have more balls than most of my boys in the pack." Dad pats her shoulder, and shouts back in the kitchen.

"Honey your favorite wolf is here!!" not even fazed after saying that he's not my mother's favorite wolf he looks back at her."So what brings you here?"

"Well John I'm here to thank you!" Asher hugs my dad making him confused.

"Ash!!!" My mother interrupts and runs? to her. "You're back."

"Hi Sarah! Good to see you." Asher smiles and starts to kiss my mom's cheeks and her face leaving out just her lips??!! "Thank you! " She whispered to my mom and pulled away.

"What is all this and why are you kissing my mate?" My dad questions and that is exactly what I'd like to know.

"Easy there little Alfa! I'm just thanking your mate for giving birth to your daughter." She winks at me, and now my parents realize that I'm here as well.
Nice! They finally noticed me.

"Hi mom! Hi dad. " I greet them and I see them look between me and Asher.
"This is not how I wanted to introduce you to my mate but looks like you guys didn't just meet." I groan. "Care to explain?"

"Is this true?" Mom asks but clearly not looking for an answer. "This is the best!!" she screams joyfully.

"Haha! Now you're part of the family!! Can't say no now!!" my dad adds.

"Guys!!" I burst out. "Explain!!" I look at them now a bit irritated and walk to the couch in the living room.

Before I can sit down Asher is behind me pulling me to sit on top of her as she laches her arms around my waist.
I try to wiggle out but she holds me in place, her mouth nearing my ear, whispering. "Sorry love! Please don't be mad?" She buries her nose in the crook of my neck making me shiver.

"Juts tell me how you guys know each other." I plead.

"Aww!! This is cute!" Mother melts as they sit down opposite from us.
"MOM!!"
"Sorry sweetheart! John will you?" she asks Dad.

"Sure honey! So the gist of it is we were classmates when me and your mother were the same age as you. Asher was doing what he's been doing, searching for his mate going all over the world. Place after place every other year. We felt sorry that he was always alone so we befriended him. Not knowing at the time that he was in fact a she and a frickin Lycan. Well I guess the pronouns just got stuck with me, sorry." he apologizes.
"We were on the basketball team, me as captain and he being my best player. Your mother on the other hand was the best student and us being friends already just made everything fitt. First I thought they will get together seeing all the girls had the hots for Asher, but than one day he comes to us all weird. Starting to sniff us. Than he goes to say that we are mates. Hahaha!! He smelled it before we even felt it.
Unfortunately he left after school, we invited him to stay and join the pack, but he said he has to check on his own pack and that he will move to the next town after that." he signed and finished the story.

It takes a while until I take this all in.
And after I get my thoughts together a look at them.

"What are your thoughts love?" Asher asks breaking the tension.

I just let go off my body and lean the back of my head on to her shoulder exhaling loudly.
"What are my thoughts? I think that you're old." I say finally.
