21. A weird introduction 1.

Sam's Pov.

We were at the back garden, the whole Rose Pack and finally everything was ready. I looked around and spotted Asher talking to my mom so I walked over.

"What's up?" I asked standing beside Mom.
"Oh! Nothing sweetheart! Ash was just saying we should head inside before Nat's here. You know... as a suprise party we don't want them to see too much." she explained.
"Ha not like she will not smell us but ok." I agreed.
"I think she's pretty occupied by her new mate.." Asher started but my focus shifted to the pups behind her. As the four little ones tried to sneak up on her, I decided to just watch the show that was about to happen.
And right on que they jumped on her.

"Hahaha!!"
"We captured a Lycan!"
"Hihi!"
"Mom look! Look! We have him!!"
They yelled and now everybody's attention was on my mate and the children. And Asher instead of backing down played along.

"Haha! Foolish! You don't have enough to stop me! Haha!" Laughter filled the air as she ran with the pups. Making me giggle at her antics.

"Noo! This can't be!
"We need more!!"
"Joey, come and help!"
"We can't let the Lycan go!"

The kids desperate for help shouted out for back up. The next second another ten or so of them were on her, now fully engulfing the Lycan. Everyone was enjoying the show and even though Asher was besieged she was still trying to move step by step, until she finally fell down under the army of young-ones.

"We have him!!"
"Hahaha!"
"We defeated a Lycan!"
"A mythical beats was slain!"
"Hehe! Dad look!"

They all cheered on top of her, but it was time to save my mate, so I walked over.

"Okey you lot now that you got her, let her breathe I can't even see her." I scolded them but not too harshly, and after they scattered away I lent my hand to Asher smiling at her.

"There you go! The mighty Lycan who was slain by pups." I giggled at how sweet she was playing with them.

Standing up she looked into my eyes and whispered."Your beautiful!"
I blushed a little, but wanting to get back at her I said teasingly."So mighty Lycan what rewards will you give to your saviour."

"Humm... I have nothing to offer but my body oh hero of mine! Or if that is not enough you shall have my soul and my eternal love." Her eye slightly darker she whispered in a husky voice that made me swoon, and my blood ran to my head turning me red.
She gave me a peck on the lips than looked at the house with an amused look on her face.

"Now this should be fun!" she said and before I could comment she pulled me along into the house, saying to my not so far away Mom and Dad. "I think Natalie and her mate is here! Let's go in!"

Asher's Pov.

|Inside the Pack House|

Walking inside I ushered Sam to the living room instead of the hall which earned me a questioning look.
"I know you want to go and hug your sister and greet them but let them meet your parents first. Believe me, it's gonna be... well, it's gonna be weird after they see me... with you." I explained briefly but this just made her more confused.

Standing behind the couch I leaned on it and pulled her into my arms, both of us facing the hallway, and I said to her with a little bit of shake in my voice.
"Trust me on this!?"

"Okey but, you have to explain later." she looked back at me, making a wary smile noticing my careful attitude.

Sarah and John were already at the door when we heard the knock. They opened it and Natalie was in their arms the next second. The happy atmosphere filled the room and I had to pull back Sam before she could go over.

"Dad! Mom! Hahaha! You won't believe who I met!" She started, with a smile on her face and looked back outside. "Come in, baby! Don't be shy! This is my Mom, Sarah and my Dad, John! And guys this is my mate, Nathan... Nathan Jake Ross!" She introduced the man who walked in. 
He had this typical European rich boy look, but his outfit was throwing the whole picture off. Oh yeah! He was dressed as a famous 90's adventure movie star with the leather boots and all.

Nathan stood before Sarah and John and with enthusiasm he hugged both of them. "Hi! Well first of all, it's really great to meet you two, Nat's been talking about her family a lot so it's nice to finally see you all in person... hehe." he rambled to them, but Natalie cut him off.

"Where is Sammy? I've been dieing to tell her the news!!" she looked around and this got Nathan's attention as well.

"She's in the living room with..." Sarah started while walking towards us, but before she could finish or before Natalie could say anything Nathan exclaimed!

"Uncle?!!" the whole room was silent.

Nathan waking up from his daze looked at me questioning. "W..why are you here?" he asked dumfounded but his eyes took in the whole scene... Me standing with Sam in my arms, holding her possessively.
He looked between me and her than as if something clicked, the next moment he was on his knees before Sam.
His right arm was stretch out with his palm facing upwards and his head lowered he said.
"I greet you my Luna! I'm Nathan Jake Ross the Beta of the Phantom Pack."

Everyone was quiet, as they tried to put their heads around what was happening even though they all knew what was the meaning behind this greeting.

This was the first official meeting between a Luna and a Beta, and as such it was Sam's job to accept his offered hand, a symbol of his eternal loyalty.
