|At Maggie's Pizza|

Sam's POV.

After the victory we all headed to Maggie's and now we were sitting at one of the booths at the back. Alice, Archie and Greg on one side wit Alice in the middle. Taylor and Jason at the end of the table while me and Asher opposite of the trio.

Asher was sitting sideways her back to the wall, with me sitting between her legs as she held me at my waist. Her head laying on my shoulder, I could feel her breathe on my neck. She was still a bit overwhelmed with everything that happened today and I didn't blame her.

"So what happened to you Asher? You really went crazy for a second there." Taylor asked.

Asher looked up and took a big breath taking in my scent. Feeling her hands tightening around me I knew she didn't want to talk about this but when I looked her in the eye she smiled and started to talk.

"Humm... How should I put it? It was pure instinct, I'm not sure I ever experienced something like this before. I wasn't in control, but neither was Blaze...
kinda felt like for a second as if we were one being, and all that mattered, and I could think of was to mark Sam. If you didn't stop me I would have marked her... so thanks." She said and we were shocked!

Taylor and Jason shared a look that Jason continued.

"Uhm! So.. about your eyes.. was that new as well, I mean you looked terrifying!? The white in your eyes turned fully to black and the fangs.." he stuttered because of the touchy topic.

"Don't worry I'm not gonna be angry because of you asking about this so ask anything you want. And no! I can shift my eyes separately. Think of it as my on edge mode before I give control to Blaze. Basically my senses are heightened, I'm stronger and I can shift in seconds." Asher explained. "The fangs well, I'm half vampire so.. there's that."

"Wow!"
"How can you do that? I mean being in that state without shifting!" Archie asked with the others bobbing their heads.

"Humm.. practice? I guess immortality does that to you."  She said not really concentrating on them as she was breathing in my scent.

They all figured this meant the end of the topic so after that we chatted about the match, the upcoming games, and finally Archie.

"So Archie! Tell us all about you! And how does the mating work for a trio?!" I asked.

"Oh! Yeah, I should introduce my self..uhm! I'm Archie Daz Green, from the Greenstone pack. My aunt is the Alfa. I'm 19 this year and probably you guessed that I'm bisexual. I'm on the track team and my dream is to win the Olympics... Is this enough?" He asked scratching the back of his neck.

We all started to laugh as he was a bit awkward but non the less a very honest and sincere guy. We talked about him a bit more when Taylor asked.

"So how does this all work for you? I mean I was sure that Greg was straight." This piqued all of our interests turning to Greg.

"What?" he asked taken aback.

"Well aren't you? Straight I mean."

"Yeah I am." He nodded.

"Than how does it work?"

"I think Archie is the guy I would go gay for?" Greg asked not too sure either. "I was never attracted to guys and always guessed my mate would be female but when I saw Archie and smelled his scent it didn't feel wrong or awkward at all. Having both of them I just felt... whole." He confessed to which Alice and Archie had literal hearts in their pupils.

"Wow! Greg you're a secret romantic!" Jason commented and we all laughed.

"It's your turn Alice! Tell us how it feels having to guys as mates!!" Taylor asked almost jumping out of her seat!

Alice looked to each of her side, to her mates and smiled. "I hoped this would happen." She smirked and we all froze!!!

"No way! From the start you wanted two mates?" I questioned beaking the silence.

"Hehe! Yes! I always had two types that I liked and I couldn't pick, so I hoped that the Goddess would make it work somehow." She giggled.

"I'm not that surprised! Well I had my fair share witnessing mates finding each other and it's more common than you think." Asher joined the conversation. "Once I saw a mated trio with one vampire one human and one werewolf. Of course the human was turned to a vampire after the mating but still... It makes you wonder." She sighed.

"No way something like that really exists?! Aren't vampires suppose to have only one mate?" Taylor asked.

"Don't ask me! I'm not that free to ask the Goddess questions like this so who knows... but let's not talk about this, I'm hungry so let's eat already!!" She complained and we all smiled.

"Is the big bad wolf hungry?" I teased her turning to look at her.

"Humm... extremely! I want to eat something sweet like vanilla and soft like a cloud." she whispered but everyone at the table heard it, which made my ears turn red.

"Is that so?" I continued to lead on but she couldn't take it anymore and holding my cheek she kissed me.

Her tongue parted my lips as she deepened the kiss making me breathless. We were lost in each other in our own world when Jason coughed slightly.

"Cough!! Guys I don't want to interrupt or anything but the pizza is here!" he said lightly.

Asher pulled back looking into my eyes as if she was searching for my soul, than giving me a quick peck on the lips she leaned back to the wall and pulled me into her embrace.

"Let's eat! We have a big day tomorrow and I need you all to be full of energy if I want to cook for the whole pack!" Asher ushered us and we complied whole heartedly!
