26. Love

Sam's Pov.

It was dark outside and we just came back from a run in the forest, after Asher's brother, Mark left.

Ever since I met Asher and we realized our mindlink is especially strong, Blaze and Amber were really quiet, not talking to us but each other in our mind spaces.

To be honest I started to miss Amber not giving me snarky remarks and being all so dramatic in my head. But I was glad she was talking to Blaze and having a great time getting to know him, so when she told me they had a date in the forest I was truly happy for her, and of course gave her control so they could ran and be free in the wild.

Stepping outside the shower I put on some comfy pj shorts and a oversized t-shirt and begin to brush my teeth.

I could hear Asher getting into the bed probably all set for the night and finished with her nightly routine.

Still can't believe she's my mate! I know I just met her less than a week ago but I feel like I can't live without her now. She's very touchy and likes to have physical contact all the time and this possessiveness makes my heart flutter and my stomach filled with butterflies.
I guess touch is one of her love language, not that it's bothering me, hell no! lt gives me a very secure feeling and tells me she doesn't want to be away from me, so I'm more than happy with it!

Sometimes during the day I catch myself wondering how I lived without her in my life and honestly I can't remember. Looking at her face, her strong jawline, the piercing eyes filled with love and care for me, I just melt from the thought that she's mine!

My gaze shifts up to my reflection and I see just how hard I'm blushing thinking about her.

There's so much I still don't know about her. What she does for work? Is it just being a chef or other jobs... Or how's her Pack, her close friends and her family?! She's mysterious but very honest and open about everything I ask and I know she has a lot to tell, because she had a lot to live already but I don't want to push her to tell me everything at the same time! For Goddess's sake time is what we have the most of!

Thinking about the fact I'll have an eternity to spend with her blow's my mind, so I shake myself awake from my dreamy state and rince my mouth with water.

Opening the bathroom door I see her sitting on our bed and reading my notes for future song concepts. She looks up at me with a smirk on her lips and I can't help but bite mine. She's so hot and sexy half naked! My eyes wonder around her body taking in the heavenly sight. Her firm body filled with muscles, the long auburn hair falling behind her still a bit wet from the shower, and all those scars that have their own stories to tell.

"Like what you see, love?" she brings me back questioning and I gulp, my throat dry.

"Yeah... very much so!" I tell her as I walk towards the bed.

She puts the papers aside and lifts the sheets so I can lay besides her. Sifting down from her sitting posture she hugs me thightly and I burry my head into her neck, taking in her scent.

"You smell like pine trees and rain." I breathe into her skin. And feel how she gets goosebumps from my hot breath.

"Humm... you smell like fresh peaches and vanilla." she whisperes into my ear and now I'm the one shivering.

She holds my chin, making me look up at her and her deep blue eyes captivate me.

"You're beautiful." she tells me while pulling me into a deep passionate kiss.

Her lips dance around mine, as she first focuses her attention on the lower one, caressing and sucking sensually, untill she diceds to play with the upper lip.

My breathing rugged and my chest frantically moving up and down she pulls back to let me breath but doesn't give me a lot of time kissing me again deeper and with more need. Her thounge's taking advantage of my open mouth slides inside claiming what is hers, and starts to wonder around my own. 

I don't know how long we were kissing but after some time that felt like eternity but also just a couple of seconds, she pulls away. Her eyes are now balck and I know that's why she stopped.

Realizing she's on top of me, hovering above me I try to catch my breath as I take in her beautiful characteristics.

We're just looking at each other lost in the silence, as if to search for the others soul. Her eyes shift back and she's caressing my cheek with her thumb.

"I love you." she says quietly almost like lite breeze but I hear it and my heart misses a beat. I see a tear forming at the edge of her eye and slowly making its way down on her face.

"I love you too, baby! Don't cry!" I reply to her, and pull her closer to me, giving her a quick peck. Feeling the smile that forms on her lips I release my grip on her so she can lay next to me.

"You make me so happy..." she sobs almost inaudibly, letting me know her tears are from happiness, while she's spooning me tightly.

Bringing her hand to my lips I kiss her knuckles one by one till I hear her giggling behind me.
"Sing for me?" she asks yawning and snuggling her nose to my neck.

"Okey..." I agree happily and start to sing a lullaby to my mate.
