11. In trouble

Asher's Pov.

We finish our breakfast and are ready to go but John and Sarah comes in and stands in front of me, looking as if I wronged them. And that feeling comes back. Something I forgot.

"Well!? Asher explain!" Sarah questions me, her brows frowning.

"Explain what?" I ask unknowingly what is awaiting me.

"Explain to me that how is it that you've been here for half a year, not just on our packs territory but going to my school without me or Johns knowledge!!? Tell me how is that when you came back you didn't even came by to say hello!!!???" Sarah bursts out, almost yelling, with an angry John bobbing his head next to her.

"Well... shit. I'm in trouble now." Is all that comes out of my mouth.

"Okey guys listen! It's not like I knew I was gonna stay this long. In the first place I was just traveling through town back to my pack when I felt it." I started to explain to them. They just watched me with expectant eyes like they were amused at how I'm gonna talk my way out of this.
"It was a kind of pulling feeling first it started at my feet like it wanted me to be stuck to the ground. Then when I went back to my place as I figured I stay the night I also started to feel it on my back as I lied down. I thought it will go away by next day but instead it got stronger and stronger as the days went by, to the point where it became a sort of expectation like I know something will happen if I stay, so I did." I finished and put my arms around Sam.

Sarah and John looked at each other and then at me. "And?" Sarah asked.
"And what?"
"Well how did you went to school without our knowledge." John answered almost bursting with curiosity.
"Humm... oh, that. Yeah, I just forged Sarah's signature and made a note to all the teachers so I can sit in on the classes. Some of them looked a bit surprised seeing me again, and still young, but thanks to the slip no one asked questions." I said and now they were a bit baffled.
"So you just forged my signature, yeah sure totally normal." Sarah said as she held her head in her palms. After the big shock now everyone was looking at me again waiting for something.

"Ahhh.. alright, I'm sorry, I apologize for not telling you guy about coming here and staying in school. Can we go now? Sam and I still have to go to school." I apologized, but Sarah and John was just not having it and I knew what they were after.

"You guys! This is emotional blackmail! How could you be like this again, I swear every time I come, you..."
"Hold up now, how is it okey for you to be on a moral higher ground than us when it was you who didn't even say hi to your friends when you came by." John interrupts me.
"Okey whatever I will cook for you! Are we good now?" I gave in.
"To the whole pack!" Sarah simply stated, and now I'm the baffled one.
"Whatever but it'll be once Natalie is back, she is also my family." I say as we go out with Sam, hurrying our steps.

Outside Sam stop's me looking at me a bit dazed.
"What was that?" finally she asks.
"Tsk, I swear every time I come here they make me cook for them, it's like a challenge that they always have to win." I say as we get on my bike.

"Wait is your cooking that good?" she nudges me from behind.
"Well I am a certified Michelin Star Chef, so I guess it is." I pass her the helmet.
"WTF!! Really!?" comes a surprised question.
"Humm... Yeah, actually my restaurant has 3 stars, but because it's a place exclusively for creatures I don't really promote it."
"No way, but how?"

"I'm immortal so I have a lot of time on my hands, and one day I thought if I ever find my mate I should really be able to make her a nice meal, so I went to here and there to study, and it just happened." I tell her and in the next moment can feel her hugging me.
"How can you be so perfect?" she asks and it makes me smile.
"For you, love? It's the least I can be." I say and start the engine.

/Creekwood High/

When we arrived at school everybody was buzzed and excited. Probably the fact that Sam found her mate and it was 'the weird loner wolf' got all around the pack and now everyone wanted to see us, so the school entrance was even more crowded than usual. As I parked they all glued their eyes on us so I was really annoyed and I could feel Sam was nervous.

"You okey?" I ask as I hold her hand in mine and with the other lift her bag.
"Yeah it's just new. And they have the right to be curious as they are part of the pack and are my family but still, I'm nervous." she sighed so I tightened my hand around hers.

"Humm... I have an idea, and would like to test them with it... if it's okey with you.?" I raise my brows looking into her eyes.
"What are you up to?"
"Well if you must know I want to see how they see you and treat you as their 'future Alpha'. So if you allow it I want to, well sort of do an act and see their reactions. Nothing harmful just a bit of a test." I explain and she's already shaking her head...

"So you're up to no good... anyways aren't you going to be the Alpha?" she looks at me and I just nod and this is when it clicks to her. "Do as you will I'm kinda curious as well. Need me to do anything?" she agrees.
"Nah.. just stay quiet the whole time and play along with me." I tell her as we reach the main entrance.
