One shots (Namjoon):

🎤 Goodbye all lonely days.

Even the tears in my heart, goodbye now.

Oh.

Yesterday you ride, the wind flew away, without any regrets or hesitation.

Hello, sunny days, hello morning.

You woke me up from a long sleep, oh.

Your smile that's clear as glass.

I'll make the world smile brightly.

Goodbye, oh, oh, oh.

Forever, oh, oh, oh. 🎤

Park Namjoon absolutely loved working at the local orphanage.

He was an orphan himself, being raised by his older sister, Joy, meaning that he knew what it was like to grow up without parents.

Which was why he loved spending time with them, giving them a helping hand, along with support whenever they needed it.

He would help them with their homework, or read to them, and he would do this daily, visiting them everyday after his classes ended at the local community college.

He got paid for this, of course, but he didn't care about the money- all he cared about was the children, being there for them, almost like a parent should be.

Right now, he was sitting in the common area of the orphanage, reading to the six year old girl who was sitting in his lap.

That was Song Kiki, a sweet little girl with long black hair that was always pulled up into pigtails, and big chocolate colored brown eyes that always looked at him with excitement.

It was safe to say that he was her favorite worker, due to the fact that he was always treating her like a daughter, having a soft spot for her.

And, to be honest, he's been thinking about adopting her for a while now, since he could never understand why nobody wanted to adopt her.

She was a bright, intelligent, and happy child, who was always daydreaming, having a wide smile on her face.

Let's not forget the fact that she had dimples, just like he did, which made her even more excited, since, everytime he smiled, she was always comparing his dimples to her.

She was adorable in his eyes, and he couldn't understand why no one wanted her.

He kissed the top of her head once he saw that she was fast asleep, half of her face buried into the fur of her blue donkey plushie- which just so happened to be the one that he gave her on her third birthday.

He got up from the chair, before tucking a blanket around her, making sure that she was as comfortable as possible.

He then walked towards the front desk, where his coworker, and best friend, Jung Hoseok, was sitting; his light brown eyes focused on the computer screen in front of him.

"Do you still want to adopt her, Joon?" He asked, his tone of voice calm, but filled with exhaustion, due to how late in the evening it was.

"Of course, hyung," he just replied back, leaning against the front desk, while his golden hazel eyes looked towards the toddler, who was sleeping peacefully in the arm chair.

"But don't you think I'm a little too young to adopt her?"

"You're only twenty one, Namjoon, and I don't see anything wrong with it. What would your sister say?"
