Seokjin had always loved astrology.
He didn't know why, there was just something comforting about looking at the stars at night.
They acted like the friends he never had, and he always talked about his day and his feelings underneath the night sky.
He suffered from insomnia, meaning that he would spend his nights on the front porch, looking up at the stars in the sky.
Everything changed though, when he was nineteen, after his son was born, causing him to spend his nights indoors, tending to a cranky child.
He was a single father, in case you were wondering, meaning that he balanced raising a child, while being a college student, which wasn't easy.
He managed though, and ended up graduating with a business degree, getting a job at an electronics company as an accountant.
It wasn't a fun job, but it paid really well, causing him to use his paychecks on his bills, along with other necessities that he needed for his son.
And he often worked overtime, so that he could earn more money, causing him to become tired and exhausted, leading to many sleepless nights.
The story starts though, on a warm summer night, a couple weeks into the month of July.
The young father was sitting on the front porch, like he normally did, looking up at the stars in the sky.
This time however, his six year old son was sitting on his lap, a peaceful silence surrounding them.
He grew up having a passion for the stars, getting his love for astrology from his father, who owned many books on the subject.
They bonded over the subject, in fact, always finding new ways to explore the subject, knowing many facts about the stars, and constellations.
It was one of the many things that he liked about his father- he's always been laid back, down to earth, and kind hearted.
He worked long shifts during the day, only to come home and relax on the front porch, focusing his attention onto the stars, while putting his worries behind him.
And, that night, he decided to join him.
"What's that one?" He asked his father, his tone of voice filled with curiosity, while his finger pointed at the constellation in question.
His father just laughed, before following his finger, his eyes meeting the constellation that the six year old was talking about.
"That Namjoon," he responded, his tone of voice calm, while a smile appeared on his face, causing his eyes to sparkle with amusement.
