Author's Note: I know that I don't usually update on Wednesdays, but its currently raining where I live, and I thought that would be the perfect time to post this one shot. Enjoy

One shots (Namjin):

🎤 Every time the rain comes down (when the rain comes down).

I'm the one who'll be around (the one who'll be around).

I'll become a part of you and share your pain.

Every time the rain comes down (when the rain comes down).

I'ma lift you off the ground (I'll lift you off the ground).

Gonna grab your hand and take you far away.

Every time the rain comes down.

Every time the rain comes down. 🎤

Seokjin has always loved rainy weather.

The sound of the rain on the rooftop had always been relaxing and peaceful sounding, and had always calmed him down almost instantly.

Even when he was a child it would relax him, helping distract him from the fact that his parents were arguing again.

Which wasn't anything new, since they've always hated each other- only staying married so they could raise both their children and grandson.

Yes, I said grandson.

He was the son of their youngest daughter, Dana, who unfortunately committed suicide only a couple months after he was born, which left him in the care of his Uncle.

Now, Seokjin didn't have the finances to raise a small child, which was proven by the fact that he was currently renting an apartment with his boyfriend, Namjoon, who was still a college student.

But they were doing their best, though, especially since they knew that the young woman was watching over them.

Or at least the older male thought that, since his boyfriend had never been a religious person.

Moving on.

His thoughts were interrupted by the front door closing shut, and he turned his attention away from the window, just in time to see his younger boyfriend walk into the kitchen.

"Rough day?" He asked, when he saw how disheveled the younger male looked.

His chestnut brown hair was wet from walking in the rain, and his black framed glasses were slipping down his face.

He just sighed, before setting his backpack down onto one of the wooden chairs, using his hands to straighten his clothes.

"You can say that again, hyung," he replied, showing the older male how stressed he was through his tone of voice.

"It was stressful. I only have one more year left before I graduate, though, so that's good I guess."

He went silent after that, before attending to the two month old, who was eating in his high chair silently; his face covered in the baby food that he was supposed to be eating.

He used a wet wipe to remove the mess from the toddler's face, ignoring how he squirmed, obviously hating how cold it was.

He was aware that the older male went back to watching the rain silently, but he didn't mind it, since he knew all about Seokjin's love for rainy weather.

He knew how hard the last couple years have been for his boyfriend- first he was disowned for being gay, than just two months ago, he became the legal guardian of his nephew.

And, sure, they didn't have the finances for it, but Namjoon knew that family came first to the older male, which he didn't mind.

A lot of people had that mindset.

He just continued attending to the young child, who began to kick and scream once he was removed from his high chair.

"I'll take him," the older male just stayed, turning away from the window, before taking him from his boyfriend's arms.

He walked out of the kitchen after that, before singing him a lullaby, which helped calm him down, once he heard the soft voice of his Uncle.

It may have been a rough time for the two males, but they couldn't have been happier.
