Author's Note: This is one of my favorite Twice songs, and I've probably watched this music video over a hundred times. So i just had to write a story about this :)

One shots (Namjoon):

🎤 Whenever those days come, you tell me how precious I am.

All those words you say: "Everything's alright, from nobody to somebody."

I turn into someone special.

You make me feel special.

No matter how the world brings me down, even when hurtful words stab me.

I smile again 'cause you're there.

That's what you do.

Again I feel special.

One moment I feel like I'm nothing at all, like no one would notice if I were gone.

But then when I hear you calling me, I feel loved.

I feel so special. 🎤

It was a beautiful autumn morning; the sun shining down through the open windows of a small cafe, giving it a golden glow.

The cafe was silent that morning, filled with the soft chatter of customers, who were enjoying their Saturday morning drinking coffee and hanging out with their friends.

A young man was sitting on the upper level of the cafe, located in a booth that was located near the window at the back.

He had chestnut brown hair, along with golden hazel eyes that were looking down at the pages of the book that he was reading, paying no attention to the fact that a group of friends appeared on the top of the stairs.

He was deaf.

He was born with a rare ear condition, causing him to lose his hearing when he was only a couple years old.

His adoptive parents, Seokjin and Jay, still showered him in love, however, assuring him- along with each other- that everything would be alright.

They were having some trouble raising him, of course, but they were able to learn sign language, teaching him how to talk through that.

It was hard for the small family of three, but they soon got into a routine that worked well for them.

They bought their son hearing aids that would help him do better in school, since they wanted him to be able to hear and communicate with his teachers.

He wasn't wearing them that morning, however- claiming that they were uncomfortable- which worried both his fathers to be honest.

But they trusted their son, and decided to keep their eyes on him, since they owned that cafe, after all.

Meaning that it was pretty easy to keep watch over him, having their employees do it whenever they were too busy to.

They were concerned, sure, but knew that their son was sixteen, meaning that he could take care of himself.

Even if he could be extremely clumsy at times.

He continued to read his book silently, paying no attention to the fact that his older father, Jay, placed a cup of tea in front of the teenager.

He then sat down across from him, his dark brown- almost black eyes- looking at the sixteen year old with concern.

'You okay?' he signed, moving his fingers at a comfortable pace, making it easier for the brunette haired male to understand him.
