Author's Note: For once in my life I wrote a one shot that's not Namjin. I'm proud of this one, and I hope you enjoy it. This is a short once by the way :)

One shots (Sope):

🎤 I wake up in the morning and I wonder why everything's the same as it was.

I can't understand.

No, I can't understand how life goes on the way it does.

Why does my heart go on beating?

Why do these eyes of mind cry?

Don't they know it's the end of the world?

It ended when you said, "Goodbye."

Why does my heart go on beating?

Mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm.

Why do these eyes of mind cry?

Mmm, mmm, mmm.

Don't they know it's the end of the world?

It ended when you said, "Goodbye." 🎤

Min Yoongi and Jung Hoseok used to be a lovely dovey couple.

They would hold hands in public, and would go on dates often, ignoring the dirty looks that they were given.

They've been dating since highschool, and have been going strong for years.

That was, until they got married eight years ago.

Their relationship continued going strong at first, and they quickly became the fathers of a sweet child named Jaehyung, who inherited his black hair and light brown eyes from his parents.

He was a sweet child, and was very introverted, preferring to be alone, or with his parents than with other people.

He loved to read, bake, and play video games, hanging around his Godfather, and Uncles a little too much.

But he was well loved by his parents and their group of friends, and was constantly getting spoiled by them.

His Uncle Seokjin, for example, loved to bake, consistently feeding the toddler deserts, even when his parents tried to object.

His Godfather Namjoon, on the other hand, was always giving him books- either ones that he wrote himself, or ones that he found at the local bookstore- teaching him new ways to improve his knowledge.

Now his Uncles Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook were always playing video games with him, causing him to become a little bit of a sore loser.

He was still a toddler though, so he had plenty of time to learn his mistakes and life's lessons.

Right now, however, he was sitting on the living room floor, coloring in a coloring book, trying to distract himself from his parent's arguing.

They were arguing in their bedroom- which was located down the hall from the living room- but he was still able to hear their conversation.

Along with the word divorce.

Now, he didn't know what that meant, of course, but knew that it couldn't have been a good thing.

I mean, why would it, and he couldn't help but wonder what was going to happen from here.

How drastically will his life change?

His thoughts were interrupted by the bedroom door opening, before his father, Yoongi, appeared in the living room entrance way.

He sighed, before walking towards the toddler, before kneeling down in front of him.

"Jae," he told the seven year old, as calmly as he could, not wanting to show how emotional he was.

"Your dad and I are getting a divorce."

He just watched as the toddler said nothing, continuing to color inside the coloring book, trying to be as neat as possible, like how his Uncle Seokjin showed him.

"I know this is difficult for you," he said again, relaxing his posture, before running his hand through his son's black hair.

"But your dad and I will try our best to be there for you, okay? We're getting split custody, so you'll see me every weekend, but you'll be with your dad throughout the week."

"No papa," the toddler replied, keeping his tone of voice soft, while his light brown eyes stayed focused on what he was doing.

"I want to stay with you."

"I know, kiddo, I know. But this is for the best, okay?"

He kissed the top of his son's head after he said that, unaware that his husband- well, soon to be ex-husband- was standing at the end of the hallway, watching them.

There were tears in his eyes, but he quickly wiped them away when he heard Yoongi speak again.

"You're going to stay with your Uncle Joon for a couple days, okay? I'll help you pack your bag."

"Will Uncle Jinnie be there, papa?"

"I think he will be, kiddo. You know those two can barely keep their hands off each other."

He muttered those words bitterly underneath his breath, so that the young toddler wouldn't be able to hear them.

He's been friends with Namjoon since they were children, and has always been jealous of his on and off again relationship with their older friend, Seokjin.

That was until he met Hoseok, however, and he quickly realized what it felt like to be in love- that was why his best friend kept chasing after their hyung.

He was in love- and soon Yoongi joined him, marrying the younger male only after a couple years of dating.

But right now he didn't know what was worse- the fact that they were divorcing, or the fact that he was still madly in love with the younger male.

He shook those thoughts out of his head, before lifting his son up, carrying him out of the living room, and down the hallways towards his bedroom.

And he didn't even spare Hoseok a glance when they passed by.
